There are many, many forms of magnesium supplements, i.e., magnesium citrate (most common), magnesium taurate, magnesium sulfate, magnesium oxide, magnesium malate (type in Jigsaw), magnesium glycinate, magnesium chloride, etc. Magnesium malate supposedly is the best magnesium type for increasing energy levels, for helping with the symptoms of fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), and deceaseing muscle spasms, pain, and tenderness which can aid in better sleep. Some medical authors claim that magnesium malate can be helpful for cardiac arrhythmias, diabetes, migraine headaches, high cholesterol, osteoporosis, and certain types of pain. I purchased it to increase my energy levels and decrease my whole body muscle tension/pain. Although not 100% effective (reason for 4 stars), it has dramatically improved my energy level and significantly decreased my whole body muscle tension/pain. I cannot speak about its effectiveness for the other problems listed.

I've struggled to find a magnesium supplement that was effective but also didn't require chugging a nasty mix of powder & water. I started by taking 4 a day for the first 3 months now I just take 2 most nights. I am sleeping better than I have in a very long time. Not to mention the general feeling that my body is just working better. Pretty certain I'll be on this for a very long time. The pills are hard & a little big but I've had tougher pills to swallow & still take 2 at a time. If you know you need magnesium I highly suggest this one & im also a health coach.

This is an amazing product. I suffered with terrible leg cramps which at times put me in tears for this past year. I have to say within the first week Istopped having cramps. The just disappeard. I've been taking Jigsaw for about 2 months now and only had cramps about 2 times. I will not stop taking this product.

My husband and I have been taking this for about a year and a half. Love this and have no stomach upset with it, and that's a big deal. Many wonderful benefits--major for me, I no longer have to take sleeping pills, after many years. Great night's sleep. I also have suffered from Fibromyalgia for many years, and my pain is markedly reduced. There are so many pluses from taking this!!

I learned about Jigsaw Time Release Magnesium from a Cardiac Nurse. Both my husband and I take it, we find we sleep much better. Also, though little is said about Magnesium, do a search for it, and you will find it affects so many different areas of our bodies. The "time release" is important as it is much more gentle on stomachs.

Unlike other Mg products these pills are coated and small enough to swallow easily. Two am and two pm are needed, but that's OK because the size solves the swallowing problem. Previous Mg products also dried my skin out so badly that it looked as though I had aged 20 years. This Mg does not do that. It's worth the extra cost, which is still reasonable.

These are very good pills. I use them daily due to my sluggish metabolism and they definitely (TMI) promote regularity with no cramping or other symptoms. Magnesium also has many other health benefits. Most Americans are deficient so this is recommended. The time release is a good feature to keep the dose even all day long.
