Q: How do I set up for Mag250? Not working/connecting

Sometimes the TV doesn't recognize the video input from a Mag250. If after the Infomir boot screen the box goes to a black screen and never loads, then you need to change the resolution of the box. Pull the power cord out of the back of the box and plug it back in to reboot the box and immediately press and HOLD down the menu button on the remote (it is to the left of the down arrow key on the remote and has three horizontal bars on it). Hold the menu button down until you enter the blue settings screen (it will take only a few seconds). The TV System will be highlighted; press the right arrow key twice to change the resolution to 1080p-60 (NOT 1080i-60) or push the left arrow key twice to change the resolution to 720p-60. Then press the down arrow on the remote eight times and select Exit & Save, then press the right arrow key once and push OK on the remote to confirm change. A pop-up will open asking you to reboot the box, select OK.

No, they don’t make any sound. They are soft and silent. The only thing is that after a while they might need harder press to respond.

Q: Will it work with any magnavox tv?

No. This only works for the MAG boxes, no televisions
