Put this on my sxs as a front camera
this works very well and as long as you have a good quality picture phone it is amazing. had it on my sxs for over a year now as a front camera and would buy again if and when I needed another.

Not worth it…
I bought this to put it in a camper for a rear facing camera to see what’s behind me. It did install rather easily. When I went to connect it to the app, it took a while to connect. Then once I got it in my jeep to watch as I was backing up it wouldn’t connect. I walked back to the camera and it came right back on. So I’m sure it doesn’t have good enough range.I have a 4 door wrangler with a soft top. And my camper is only 13ft long. So at most it’s 21ft from the camera to my iPad.Also the app is really low quality. There are icons that you can’t hide, plus there’s only 2 that really work. One is the Options which only has one option in it. And the other is to flip the view from a rear view to a facing view. You have to make sure the camera is placed right top to bottom, And there’s no way to tell until it’s connected. The selection to flip it upside down to right side up doesn’t work…I’m going to replace it with something else….

Helpful retailer.
Helpful retailer. Instructions for installation were limited. Had some of the same problems other described with wiring. (Make sure all 3 wires are attached). Works great!

Minimal money well spent.
I wanted a front camera on my truck for off road. Small and light weight. Easy to mount. Important: The app was easy to find. Clear image on my phone sitting on my dashboard. Lines can be switched off. I can record my drive. However the wires are very thin. Two screws that hold the angle can get loose and lost but, I had an answer for that. Way cheaper than other options.

Not Wireless
Not wireless. It still needs to be plugged in to work at all times. I wanted something to go in our truck because we are always hauling things and didnt want wires in the way. So we are wrapping the wire around the headrest until we need to use it.Works best if you have a spare phone. The app is...sketchy, and a little weird to use which isnt the easiest on the road.Over all not that great, but if you dont mind all that it gets the job done.

Not easy to setup.
Camera works great once you get it setup and figure out the app.

Why didn't I test it before tearing my car apart?
Was REALLY hoping this would work for an Android 10 phone. I should have first taped some batteries and wires together to make a 12v DC power source to make the camera worked in the first place. I knew better. I wanted it to be on when my car is on, not just when in reverse. So, I couldn't pull power from my rear lights. My car has a cigarette lighter socket in the back but if I wired the camera to an adapter and kept it plugged in, it would've become damaged over time. The socket could just be pulled out, I had to remove panels to finally get to the electrical. 2.5 hours later, I definitely have power to the camera but, there's no camera network to connect. And, once I open the app on Android 10 (my fault for taking a chance on something that's explained as working through 9), there's no way to exit the app. No normal Android bottom buttons, no "X" to close. I have to reboot my phone to end the app! I still haven't taken the next steps to try powering it a different way before I go through putting my car back together again. I've emailed today. I'll update my review as things change.
