This is the only thing I put in my pool, keeps it clean and clear and it's worked for the last few years. We keep it open all winter and add about 1 a month then when the temp gets up to about 65 we just add about 4 at once then 1 or sometimes 2 a week all summer.

Great product for the pool! Dissolves quickly. Price is right. Definitely kills bacteria. Helps keep pool clean. Hubby likes to do polar plunge. We keep our pool open during most of the winter. This product still works in freezing temps.

This stuff works great!

i chose this over sodium hypochlorite shock for my swimming pool. Sodium dichloro-s-triazinetrione (often called "Dichlor" or simply "granular chlorine") is a stabilized, fast-dissolving, and pH-neutral chlorine sanitizer (55-63% available chlorine) designed for maintaining sanitization levels in swimming pools, hot tubs, and spas. It is highly effective because it contains cyanuric acid (CYA), which protects the chlorine from sun degradation, making it more long-lasting than un stabilized liquid bleach. I have used this in "tablets" used in my pool and have not had an issue with "chlorine lock" but do monitor for that. It's granular, you distribute with the pool running, do not put into the feeder. It has a higher chemical content that regular bleach, i like the 12 bag size of this offering and have used it before. There is not an ideal solution and i try to keep the chemicals balanced so i am not shocking the pool weekly.

This product is great. I use this product on my pool every week. Works just as great as the shocks you get from a pool store and you're not paying the expensive price. Very economical. It dissolves quickly and within an hour to two hours it safe to swim. It leaves my pool look crystal clear. It kills all the bacteria and algae build up. I do recommend the product to any one
