Got this to replace a dry rotted band on an old Suunto watch. This is EXACTLY like the original and even includes new screws (which were needed) and the screwdriver to install them (torx).It's like having a new watch!

Ambits have a reputation for having poor quality straps that have to be replaced once a year at least and that’s from Suunto. This bad is even worse if you can believe that’s possible. Metal is cheap and a light non durable alloy, the strap is floppy and flimsy with no structure or durability at all. Don’t believe me? It broke while I look it out of the package. Before I could ever get it to my watch. There are plastic inserts where the band mounts to the watch face and they snapped and drooped like a dead snake before it could ever come into contact with my watch. Poorest quality. Vendor trying to make a quick buck on flipping a cheaply made product. Don’t waste your time...or money.

This band is good quality for the money. I bought this to replace my Suunto watch band that broke. I saved close to fifty dollars by not buying this band from Suunto. This band is just as good if not better. I am very pleased with this band. I have been using it now for about a year and it is still holding up.
