Electric splice all areas love them. Some didn't melt Like I wanted them to. Just re did them. Nice

I don't know how they got the solder and plastic to melt at the same temperature but they did and it works great. The solder makes a great connection and the plastic ends constrict to make a waterproof connection.

The solder was hard to melt, when warmed up the wires slipped apart easily. But i was working with some big wires. I got it to work but a product bigger, longer and more "heavy duty" word be outstanding. I am still glad I ordered the product.

The solder to diameter ratio is much too lean to make a solid connection. Beyond that, you need to put so much heat into the connector that you end up melting the heat shrink before you melt the solder. Good for smaller wires, not good for 8 AWG.
