A beautifully written/designed book at a very reasonable price. It's been super helpful for both advice on techniques and project inspiration for a budding potter like myself. Plus the book itself looks great as a design piece around the house.

This is the book! I have been potting around for a year now, and this beautiful book is incredibly inspiring! Clear instructions, gorgeous, enviable photos of projects for the future! Buy this book if you love ceramics! And even if you don’t! You will after you’ve read it!

The book is absolutely beautiful and one worthy on any clay enthusiast and/or Potter's book shelf. I must admit, my heart is usually with throwing (complete personal preference) but Lily's book is certainly refreshing and exciting! I've followed Mae ceramics socials for a long while and so pre-ordering this was a no brainer - the book does not disappoint! It's perfectly simple and covers absolutely everything to get ceramic goods from a ball of clay to a finished piece. It's a beautiful and accessible book for all - I really wished this was available from the start of my pottery journey as it really does cover everything with incredibly useful info/tips alongside the step-by-step projects! All in all, it may even be my favourite book in my pottery collection!

This book is such a beauty, the cover in itself was so beautifully designed and the photography and layout is stunning. Within the book you can learn about so many areas of pottery, many of which I haven’t seen covered in a book format previously. This is definitely a must have for anyone starting out hand building and a great way to expand your knowledge even if you are an experienced potter. I would highly recommend!

Big fan of Lilly’s work and so chuffed to have such a useful, inspiring and gosh darn lovely book to help with my practice! As a newcomer to the world of pottery , I saw this book recommendation via a Keith Brymer Jones post . It’s very informative and well written, I love the projects section and am looking forward to working my way through them.
