HSS Machine Tap Set in Plastic Case, Bright Finish, 14 Pieces, R245048RO

I'm of the opinion that, unless you're spending a fortune, all of these sets are the same. The only real difference I've found is in the quality of the box, and the plastic box these are provided in is lovely. I'm sure it'll last a lot longer than the cheap sheet metal boxes you usually get, which I've found are always bent and don't close within a day or two. In the future I'm going to make sure all of my drill sets are provided in such a box. Anyway, a good set of drills and taps for all of the common sizes required.

A quality set. biggest reason for purchase was to get a proper size drill for the tap - and this is perfect. but the drill sizes are not so rare that if a broke one I couldnt get an individual replacement part without any greif

Dopo l'acquisto di un primo set di maschiatore M8 di questo brand ed esserne rimasto molto contento, ho deciso di prenderne un kit completo che potesse coprire molte più misure e con cui dilettarmi nel sistemare varie cose riguardo il motore della mia Vespa. Il kit si presenta benissimo, fornito con una bella scatola robusta con una linguetta che ne permette l'affissione su un banco da lavoro e al suo interno, una volta aperta, il contenitore funge da "espositore" per le punte da foro e i maschiatori, tutti rigorosamente contrassegnati con la rispettiva misura. Rispetto al precedente kit dello stesso brand acquistato in precedenza, qui non sono presenti tre pezzi per misura ma ho dato comunque fiducia al produttore e anche stavolta non ho sbagliato. Ho effettuato tre fori con annessa maschiatura in misure M6 ed M5 per successivamente inserire degli helicoil. L'attenzione nella lavorazione e la cura nell'utilizzo di olio da taglio e una corretta tecnica fanno sempre da padroni ma questo set è davvero ben fatto! Mi raccomando, per maschiare un foro utilizzate sempre la punta dedicata poiché sono misure estremamente precise e necessitano sempre della punta fornita insieme.
