Fossil Courier Bag, Hayes Mink

This is for me the perfect version of Fossil's small shoulder satchel and the perfection is reached with the gusseted pockets (earlier versions were slash) and absence of a hand hold. My cell phone slips perfectly into one of the two interior pockets (the other is great for pens, pencils, highlighters). Interior and exterior rear pockets are great for a tablet, notepads, papers, or a folded newspaper. For those that might care about such things, the gusset pockets are sized to fit a standard-sized tarot deck.

Very nice, but cannot fit much. Basically a laptop and nothing else.

I have a leather Fossil Messenger bag that I have had for many years. It has weathered beautifully and worn like iron. I've been randomly stopped on the street by at least three women wanting to know where I got it, plus received my compliments from complete strangers.I carry it everywhere I go, but since I've retired I don't need as much capacity, or weight, for daily carry. These days, I only carry my CCW, phone, car keys, and iPad plus a few odds and ends, so I've found the messenger bag to be overkill. I'll still carry it when I'm traveling, but I wanted a smaller , lighter bag for daily use.Since my Fossil messenger has been both stylish and indestructible there was no question where I was going to look first. I selected the Fossil Greenville Courier and it is awesome! I got it overnight from Amazon an it looks great. It and carries everything I need with front pockets for things like keys and cellphone, plus a rear pocket with magnetic closure for my CCW. It has a great lining so I don't worry about sliding my iPad or sunglasses into it.The leather is firm enough to hold it's shape, but not too hard. I prefer this leather to my messenger bag, which is so buttery soft it collapses into a mushy pile when I'm digging thru it looking for something.My wife loves it and by the glint in her eye I think I might see another one show up on the porch before long.
