New BalanceMen's 577 V1 Lace-Up Shoe

These are so comfortable and fit perfectly for an extra wide shoe size person. They are durable, long lasting and we have purchased them in different colors or slightly different styles. We are very pleased with New Balance.

I wore these on vacation in Spain for 2 months. I walked an average of 5 miles a day and they held up extremely well. I was walking on cobblestones much of the time. They really are XX wide which really helped. They have become my favorite shoes to wear everyday.

Fit is good out of the box. Comfortable and stable. SL2 toe box makes the difference. Basically a stripped down 928 with a more flexible sole. One star off cuz the extra flex may become an issue over time.

Shoes as advertised. Reasonable value. Solid quality.Good fit for unusual size (15XL}.

Ideal if you have duck feet like mine. I work for the USPS and log 14-20 miles a day. These required ZERO “breaking in” - and unlike other brands, they show no creasing or wear of any kind, save for the soles - and that after over 200 miles of walking. They don’t breath particularly well, but this slight downside is more than made up for by their resilience to moisture from outside. If you don’t struggle with naturally stinky feet, these are an absolute ‘best bet’ for high-mileage and damp environment use: e.g. letter carrier and restaurant worker etc. HIGHLY recommend.

runs a bit narrower than it should. I wear a wide shoe, ordered wide, received wide but the shoe runs more slim than it should. I even took them to a local shoe store who measured my feet and confirmed it wide, then confirmed the shoe read "wide". Never did stretch out to fit. won't buy this model again. I've worn New Balance for many, many years and never had this issue. It was the first and last time I'll buy online.

Please correct the error, or false advertising. It is not made in USA.Mine don't squeak, as others have noted.5/26/24 UPDATE:No 'squeak,' but second day,Loud Crunch!!Startlingly loud.I sprayed the tongue with silicone and it immediately improved. I hope the spray won't harm the leather or laces.PThe long laces may be intended to allow use of the additional 2 lace holes that are left open as packed.🌻

New Balance shoes and boots have never let me down... I can't say the same for some other brands.

Men’s shoes are typically a D width. We needed and ordered a B width but it didn’t seem to fit any better than the D so are returning.

These hurt my feet. I have tender feet and they are too hard on themWish I had returned right away.
