Prescription Medication Bag Standard Keyed Lock Travel Case (Red)

This is my second bag like this. The first one had a combination lock. I took it with me on many trips and cruises. It fit into the cruise ship safe. I took it on trips with me and did when my grandchildren were younger so that my medication’s were all locked up securely. It has plenty of room and plenty of extras with it. It now has a key lock which works very similarly to the other one. I just keep the keys in a separate place in a wallet.

A great solution for a significant volume of Rx and MMJ Medicinal storage and inventory. Nice padded walls keep everything safe. Plenty of room to customize the storage area using adhesive backed Velcro strips (Walmart) on the inside walls and storage containers of all sizes.For MMJ use, it can't be beat... locking container excludes Law Enforcement probable cause search in most jurisdictions, and will show damage if broken open be law enforcement... same legal status as having meds in the trunk, as there is no immediate driver/passenger access to this bag, even if it is sitting on the front seat.This locking case is large and heavy due to the bank-bag quality lock; If you are looking for a similar locking case feature but in a much smaller and lighter solution, check out the small locking 5x8 medicine pouch by vaultz.net (Walmart, $6, in black and zebra), or checkout the website directly to see some of their more stylish designs.... The bag itself, the zipper, and the lock are sewn well, constructed well, and would rate 5 stars for an item of its price. Perfect for traveling with medications to places where small children or others might be tempted into stealthy meddling. Being flat and flexible, it fits well into carry on luggage. As with any of the medical lock boxes, if someone really wants into this bag, it can be broken into.But for my purposes it is perfect to keep small children safe, and casual thieves honest.I am taking off two stars as the secondary construction was really astonishingly sloppy and I would have returned this prescription bag if I had the time. The Velcro strips are crooked, and the small weekly pill container was stuck onto its Velcro while either its day initial (M-F) paint was still wet, or the black-glue used for the Velcro strips was not wiped of the workers fingers.The worker doing so then proceeded to attach the clear plastic travel bags and the pill container with the same black-paint, or black-glue, covered fingers, leaving his/her fingerprints everywhere. Very sloppy and obviously not caring a bit about the sloppy work. Also obviously there was no Quality Inspector employed at this manufacturer.I removed the fingerprints with some scrubbing and paint thinner.

I purchased this as a gift (I know, weird, right?) for my sister who needs to keep track of pills, vitamins, and prescriptions. I was tired of seeing bottles in her purse and digging around. Plus, her little one was starting to be interested in her belongings. The bright color makes it easy to find, two keys included are a plus, and it’s roomy! This is a durable fabric but YES this can be “broken into” by cutting it. The lock has worked well for the past few months and is secure. I recommend this product!

i received my med bag yesterday and it was even better than i expected. it's bigger than i thought it would be and i love the pockets and pill box inside not to mention the bottle holders... makes it so easy to keep my meds in order and easy to find. it did take me awhile to figure out how to use the lock but once i did, now it's very easy. it's a well made bag but you must keep in mind that it's not a steel safe. it's meant to be used to keep children out of your meds and for me at least, to make it a little difficult to keep out my "pill popper' friends.... if i happen to leave my bag laying in my chair while go to the bathroom, i don't think they will have time to find a way into it before i come back.

I bought this to store all my sons medications in, and to know they were secure! I love the peace of mind knowing that dangerous drugs are locked up. This bag is big enough to store a decent amount of prescription bottles in, but small enough to throw in the car when going on a trip. It appears to be well made and tamper-resistant. This medication bag should last a long time and serve its purpose. A great buy for anyone wishing to keep drugs out of the wrong hands - unless you have a whole mountain of narcotics and drugs, in which case Id recommend a metal tool box and a big old padlock (have done this in the past too!).

Exactly like the online description. Only 4 out of 5 stars because I would prefer that it had a wider flatter bottom that could support it "standing up" on a counter while we open and close it. It tips over if not held up. We have liquid in bottles in ours so we prefer something that would be either stiffer to support the weight of the lock mechanism when opening it at "the top" or a wider base (or both.) Good value. We are glad we bought it.

Nice concept, except that if someone truly wanted to get inside, all they'd need to do is cut the bag. [The lock itself is much more substantial than the overall case…lol.] I do wish that the fabric was better reinforced such that it was a bit sturdier overall. HOwever, it serves a purpose and fits a good bit of travel meds - both prescription and OTC, and has the 2 clear zipper cases for sharps, etc. I will be modifying it however, with additional velcro such that I can strap in/attach more items directly to the body of the case.
