Healthy but kina hacked at. It also came with buds which is nice. Not sure why they trimed it before transport. And not good cuts ither, left little dead ends. Its actually a 6b hardy plant not 6a where i am. But it can go in a large pot and come in befor it gets to cold. It has healthy looking roots too. Pot came moist. Just i cant get over the unsightly cuts as its evergreen ill be seeing those for years to come.

I bought this for my mom and she loved it. She said it arrived very healthy, watered, and full of buds ready to bloom. This was in January. It is rated for a bit cooler dates as she is in southern Michigan.

Does anyone else out there get nervous when they see a plant arrive in the mail? Who knows what condition the poor thing will be in after who-knows-what happens in transit... As it turns out, I had nothing to worry about. This camellia might as well have been wearing armor it was so protected. And my, how beautiful it is, too! Our particular plant happened to have several gorgeous blossoms fully awaiting their arrival at our home, and even more flower buds that were about to burst open any moment. The plant is the perfect color I want to see when I think of camellias, and they are so fragrant, too!Perfect purchasing experience, perfect plant, perfectly satisfied customer!

They had blooms when I received them last spring. They have done well all year, and have buds on them now ready to bloom.
