I finished installing this system on my 30' travel trailer and I'm very impressed with the overall quality. The wiring, while time consuming, delivers a crystal clear signal superior to wireless systems. The display is high resolution and offers many nice features. The cameras are high resolution and provide good nighttime images. They are all contained within a sturdy metal enclosure. Another nice surprise was how I could adjust the camera position and lock it into place within the enclosure. The cable connectors required a 3/4 hole but there was a rubber grommet that fit snug around the cable. I'm still experimenting with the units features but I love the auto-record feature and appreciate the company including a 64GB SD card. There is a way to connect a cell phone via Bluetooth but I am still looking for a way to stream the video to my cell phone. That would be a nice feature. Since I pull my travel trailer with a Ford F-150, I required 2 18-pin extension cables so I could extend the 18-pin connection all the way to the hitch. I also purchased a 3rd 18-pin extension cable to extend from the hitch back to where I am connecting all my cameras in my pass thru storage. I preferred to setup my unit this way so I only need to connect 1 cable at the hitch instead of all 4 camera cables as the user manual suggested for travel trailers. Of course, I will not be able to keep standby power in this configuration to keep the clock set but I never planned to keep the display mounted full-time anyway. Another nice feature are the "trigger" connections, which will switch to the triggered camera when voltage is detected on the trigger wire. I attempted to wire these leads to the hitch plug receptacle. I gave up on this since it was difficult to tie into the end of the hitch cable based on where the junction box is located on my trailer. Maybe I'll try again in the future. I recommend considering this unit.

My wife and I are entering our "golden" years. And, have decided to tour this great country in our 1994 RV while our health is still good. And, before the doctors start getting the gold leaving us with just the years. As such we realize that with fixed income and with what the RV parks are changing these days for a nights stay. We will not be able to afford to stay at RV parks all the time. There will be times ( actually most of the time) that we will have to stay in parking lots and etc... . While traveling and not being familiar with the areas we may make a decision to stay in a area that looked safe during the day but at night the rats and cock roaches come out of the wood work. We wanted to ability to see what is going on around our motorhome or who is knocking on our door. We are not seeking any confrontation in our travels. Being able to see and stop a confrontation before it happens by simply seeing that it's a rat, cockroach or a police officer that is knocking on our door. Will give us the option to avoid any confrontation by simply getting into the driver seat and driving away is well worth the money we paid for the camera system. The system was easy to install the hardest part was running the wires so it didn't look like crap in the motorhome. However, the first monitor that came with the system would just flicker and would not bring up the cameras. Of course the first think I thought was "you buy cheap you get cheap". So, I reached out to the company's customer service by email just expecting to get the old run around. But, within 24hrs I was contacted by Anna who was eager to address the problem. The only thing she asked was just to send her a short video of what the monitor was doing so the technician may be able to diagnose the problem remotely. So, I showed that the 12 volt power source I was using was putting out a good 14 volts. Then I connected the monitor to the same power source and showed that it only flickered and would not connect with the camera's. Within 48 hrs after sending the video I was once again contacted by Anna who informed me that a new monitor would be sent and apologized for the inconvenience that it has caused. About 3 weeks later I received the new monitor. Once I connected it to the cameras all of them came on. The picture quality is very sharp and the system has the ability to record. I can't speak for longevity of the system as of yet. But, the customer service was outstanding.

System was easy to install. The heads of the screws for mounting the monitor to the stands stripped easily and so I replaced them. Otherwise system was a great addition to our class c.

I feel like this head unit made my 4Runner into a Tesla. It has 4 channels, allows you to switch between different screen settings. Comes with generous amount of wiring. 4 cameras (2 rectangle and 2 circular). I got this unit really as a dedicated baby cam monitor since I have a cargo rack and a large IR camera with night vision can be mounted facing my toddler (rear facing car seat). I was able to use the other rectangular camera under the front of my car. I'm currently using it as a front camera, but the mounting bracket allows me to rotate it easily to either my suspension or downwards. I was hoping the circular cams were small so I can put them on my side mirrors, however they were too big and best suited for a truck or RV. I did get another 2 smaller PAL 1080P camera and used an adapter from a large 4 pin to small 4 pin to make it work. I drilled a hole and ran the wire thru the side mirror, door panel, and then under the passenger seat where I have most of the wires. The side cameras are able to be triggered on when I use my turn signal (tap the trigger cable to the live cable on each tail lamp when the signal is on; i used a multimeter to verify the wire to tap). What I really love is that this not only displays, but records. I had a dash cam mirror (front and rear cam only), but I wanted something on the side just in case I get side swiped it can record what happens. The head unit also allows for mirroring, but only with Android phones. I have a This head unit and camera setup is not only good for blind spot, baby cam, recording, but also for terrain monitoring for off-roading. i have it powered thru the cigarette lighter, but I may move it to a hardwiring setup.

Update: Awesome company to work with, new cables sent/recieved and are ready to be installed. Thank so much for replacing. Okay, this product is solid. But there are some caveats. Pros-camera resolution is, although wide angle, very clear. The monitor is phenomenal. It's easy to navigate and also has a remote viewing available. Cons-the cables are super thin and I am having intermittent signal when it is cold outside. Being a tractor trailer, I have two cables connected to my trailer cam. With this distance the cable could definitely stand to be thicker. Yesterday the cable sheered in half with zero apparent reason. This is fine with me because I am planning on adding a 4 wire 18 gauge cable to the fix. I cut the cable to view the inside and found 3 shielded wires, 1 unshielded wire wrapped in very brittle foil. The cable end had 4 poorly soldered connections. Planning to buy connectors with soldering cups rather than posts. Hope this helps. Tk81
