Hung over his bean bag for a cute reading corner, he added bluetooth Edison bulbs and he loves it.

These are great! There is so much wire so if you wanted to hang you have plenty to work with. I really can’t believe the price either. Highly recommend!

Switch toggle is very loose. Makes keeping light on difficult...no positive "click" and makes light flicker. Probably a fire hazard. I do not recommend the product.

This is a simple but charming light fixture that I am using in my kitchen. I have an old-fashioned overhead rack for my pots and pans hanging over an island on the kitchen side and I wanted to add a little more light on the dining side. I chose the two-bulb version which is light-weight and was easy for me to install exactly where I wanted it and at the perfect length. I like the rustic look of the lights and the corded hemp rope running flat along the ceiling and down the wall to the outlet to keep everything from looking too busy. The style of the light fixture and its placement complements the antique-looking scroll work on my cast iron rack, and makes it look as if I had planned it that way from the beginning. The light fixture is reasonably priced and arrived in good condition; it was well packaged in a compact box with everything needed for installation.

The set includes two dimmable LED standard US base bulbs, which are quite bright. Using a dimmer is recommended unless you add shades to the fixtures. If the bulbs are well overhead, then the glare is not so much a problem. The fixtures are rugged, and their look along with the jute (manila hemp?) covered wires lends a vintage look. It reminds me of hanging utility lights that were at my grandmother's house, which was built in the 1920s. The bulbs are dimmable, but seem to have a narrower range of operation than some other bulbs, so they may not dim in unison with other brands of LED bulbs, really a very minor issue. I've seen this before when mixing other types of dimmable LED bulbs on the same circuit. You can always change out the bulbs with other ones, as the fixture has a standard Edison base like all US fixtures.A nice addition when you want an older style look.

The rope on this lighting is very rustic and has that old sailor, marine dock feeling. The cool thing about these lights, is that you can hang them just about anywhere. As you'll see in one of our photos I hung it across the the area above one of our windows.Later we got some cool looking brackets that have pulleys on them and mounted the rope on the pulleys.....gives the living room a little bit of a steampunk look now.The one thing that would have been nice for these lights to come with, is a dimmer switch. So we ordered a simple plug in the wall dimmer, which works great with these lights.And of course because they are LED lights, they stay nice and cool.Overall, we're very happy with this lighting kit.

You could style it modern-industrial, boho-chic, rustic depending on what you want. I have the single bulb in a cage; it's hanging in a bedroom corner waiting for me to decide which of those directions to go. I thought the cage would be all wire but the pieces that go around the wired part are plastic woven. Cord is very long. The single bulb light is not dimmable. No one puts baby in a corner but you can put this light in one, it doesn't care, it just brightens the corner.
