This is a great way to start a drip irrigation bsystem with every thing in one box, My wife and I set it up for 10 pots in our daughter’s small patio garden. This system is absolutely brilliant as a starter set up, I added another 20m of the 13mm tube, 5x 13 to 4.6mm tee pieces, 5x 180 sprinklers, 10x 4.6mm dripper tees, 10x 4.6mm end line drippers. All controlled by a timer. This system is now watering my bonsai collection. Can not fault the Gardena system at all, so easy to install. Fittings are quality.

Bought this system to keep our pots and planters alive during a 5 week summer holiday - it did the job very well, in fact some of our plants have never looked better and obviously enjoyed a regular controlled amount of water.You'll need to buy the timer/controller which fits onto the tap and is separate from the drip-irrigation system. I set this to 15 minutes of water every 6 hours - just a guess but it worked.Oddly, there's a connection issue - both the controller and irrigation hose have male connectors, so I needed to add a short length of hose with female connectors on each end. Couldn't see another way around it.

Key is in the name, it's a drip system. I bought this for a raised flower bed at about 10m long and 1m deep and it has lots of plants. You'd need a drip on every single plant for this to work which is not possible. I'd say this is only any good for plant pots or small areas where you have 10 plants max. To water lots in one area is not ideal. Not looking at a sprinkler but may also not be suitable. Wanted this on a timer whilst away in the summer. All cut and won't be able to return for a refund now.

Good clear instructions and easy to put together. Hopefully will last for years.

Although this works, it is extremely prone to the nozzles becoming blocked due to chalky deposits in the water. Then your plants don't get any water and die if you are not careful. I'm forever having to unblock them. It's got to the stage where I am watering with a watering can instead of relying on this.
