I had never heard of eucalyptus tencel before, but I love silk and like to try new things. We usually only get 400-800 thread count Egyptian cotton, as we have high comfort standards! So when it came time to buy new bedding, I thought I'd give this a try. I bought a variety of bedding from this company, Linenwalis, some in tencel, some in bamboo. Both their tencel and bamboo feels IDENTICAL. Both are equally silky and soft. The weave is directional - unlike cotton which feels the same in every direction, this feels smoother in the "warp" direction and ever so slightly rougher in the "weft". You can't tell the difference with fingers, only with lips! The fibres are both fine and silky soft. This duvet cover has a two way zip closure, making it super easy to change. There are ties in each corner on the inside, but not sure how to tie them to my duvet. But if you don't tie it in, every night the duvet slithers to the outside/bottom of the cover and has to be shaken back in the morning.I chose the Taupe colour, which looked like a creamy almost peachy shade in the listing, but was a pale ivory beige in person. (I'm still not sure about the colour. Elegant or just practical?) We decided to keep it as it wouldn't show any stains as quick as white. I plan to reorder more in white! It did actually stay looking clean for much longer than cotton!As to comfort, this warms up with body heat faster than cotton and feels super luxurious. It has a silk like sheen and is so soft it really helps your duvet mould to your body. I found this great value for money at a very reasonable price, cheaper than my last cotton duvet cover.

Bought this as a cover for my weighted blanket because of the inner ties. It works perfectly, feels super soft and is getting softer as I wash it (on cold cycles!). The colour is a little different in real life but that may just be my laptop screen.

Colour is much darker than the image. Not returning it as it feels so beautiful on the skin.Will buy again in different colour

Wanted some new bedding, usually go for decent quality cotton, but had come across somepositive reviews of Tencel/Lyocell material and was intrigued. This set seemed good value compared to others, seemed at least as good as comparable cotton sets, and so I bought one largely because it seemed worth a try. What a revelation! I cannot shill for this product hard enough, it is so phenomenonally comfortable and soft, with a natural smoothness and sheen that is silky and in no way plasticy like a polyester. It feels clean and cool, yet warms quickly in winter. Fitted bed well, nice convenient zip feature on the duvet. Sleeping has never been such a pleasure and I have bought another set already. STRONG reccommend.

This is my first time buying “luxurious” bedding; first impressions was that the silk wasn’t as shiny as shown in the advertisement, it’s somewhat shiny but matte. It’s a nice soft feel, not the softest but still nice. In addition, this might be a bit picky, but the zippers on the duvet cover collide with one another so a bit noisy, it’d be nice if it was a bit more hidden and tucked in once zipped up. As of right now, it does look really nice, just a bit more matte then I thought. I’ve only put the bedding on, and will be updating after wash in a couple weeks time. (:Edit:After being washed once, and being used it’s lost its soft touch and isn’t as shiny as it was. Definitely don’t recommend this in all honesty.

I don't get so hot with this duvet cover and fitted sheet.However the fitted sheet stretches quickly and the duvet moves around a lot inside the cover.So not perfect but I am happy with it so far.

As you can see nothing like the colour after two washes on 20 degrees, lined dried. It’s got pulls, gone bobbly. I have contacted Amazon about a refund but heard nothing . It’s not worth the money, poor quality not colour. Advertising is wrong

Als erstes dachte ich, die Bettwäsche ist schwer aber nach dem 1. waschen ein Traum. Sehr angenehm auf der Haut. Leicht kühlend im ersten Moment und für normale Sommernächte toll. Bei grosser Hitze ist mir allerdings alles zu warm daher kann ich dazu nichts sagen. Sieht aber edel aus und fässt sich super an

Wunderbares Material. Und es kühlt wirklich die ganze Nacht. Wollte die Bettwäsche erstmal ausprobieren , weil die normalerweise viel teurer ist. Habe gleich eine zweite Garnitur gekauft. Echt zu empfehlen, gerade in der Hitze.

Kein schwitzen 😓 mehr bleibt angenehm kühl.

Dieses Bettzeug ist einmalig. Es ist nicht nur wunderschön, sondern man liegt darin wirklich super. Es ist nicht zu glatt, sondern hat genau das richtige Körper-Feeling. Würde es jederzeit wieder bestellen, nachdem der Preis mehr als leistbar für eine solche Materialzusammensetzung ist. Super, super, super! Meine Begeisterung ist wirklich extrem! Würde es auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen!!!

I used to only buy Tencel bedding from West Elm or Pottery Barn but the duvet covers are pricy so I tried this one. I bought my first one over a year ago and it still outperforms my other more expensive ones. The smoothness and slight sheen of the fabric looks premium, the interior ties for each corner of the comforter insert keep each corner in place, the zipper is easier than buttons which always leave gaps, and the fabric washes well. The weight of the fabric is thinner than other brands but I actually prefer it better as it feels cooler and silkier than thicker ones. I also like the lightweight of it that I actually bring my own comforter with this duvet when I travel so I have my own bedding that I know I won’t be allergic to. I have bought more for a guest bed and just got another to have washed and ready when I want to swap out the one on my king bed. I also suggest waiting for it to go on sale and stock up!I have found this material feels the most ‘cool’ when paired with a lightweight duvet insert. When I have used this cover on a thicker, denser insert; it feels warmer to me due to the nature of the thick insert but when used with a light weight insert made with eucalyptus fibers, it is cool enough for me and the perfect combination.Note: the latest cover I purchased had interior corner ties that were looped closed so I just cut them apart so I could tie each corner of the duvet insert.
