Good price for raw shea butter
I use this as moisturiser everywhere and sometimes in making curly hair products. Great stuff, melts nice, seems to be raw shea nothing else. The only dislike is the plastic packaging but I like that's it's a kilo and tubs not too hard to get into for me.

Brilliant
Arrived as predicted, I use this alot for my home made products,it's the best as far as I'm concerned, smells like coconut,looks like coconut,lovely texture,easy to work with,blends well,goodvalue for money ,great texture, no faults whatsoever

NOT THE SAME PRODUCT
I have been using this product for several years. Previously it has been nice & thick & very smooth & silky.Last purchase in August 2018 was totally different - very light (as if somehow inflated?) & exceedingly grainy. The grainy feel disappears as product is rubbed in, but is unpleasant.I still have some product left which I previously purchased & have done a comparison test on my legs - the moisturising effect of this last purchase is substantially inferior to earlier purchase.I am not an expert but this is definitely not the same product 👿

Great for homemade products
Bought this to make my own hair conditioner and body moisturiser. Never bought shea butter before so wasn't sure what to expect. It's easy to work with and doesn't make a mess. Easy to melt and easy to store away. It makes my skin feel lovely and soft and am waiting to see if it'll be good for my eczema.My only complaint or dislike is the smell. To me it smells like gone off milk and required a bit more essential oil when making products to mask the smell but since I've never bought it before, I have no idea what it's actually meant to smell like.Will definitely buy it again as it is worth the money!

Unrefined indeed!
a coarse and dense organic substance which requires some force and heat to melt. its so thick you need to be mindful about absorbtion and where its applied as it does not spread very easily.very good value for money and the only option that has comfortably endured a full day, even in spite of cold and windy weather. recommend highly!

Smells but seems okay I think!
Not sure if this has given me a rash on my hands. Seems to be the only place that I have a rash but I use on my whole body so maybe it's something else. Use on my children too. Seems fine on them! Not the greatest smell!

Perfect as an overnight treatment for flaky dry skin
Don't make the mistake of using this on your face everyday; it may be non-comedogenic (if it is indeed pure and unrefined) but it's thick and heavy. As an occasional overnight treatment for dry, flaky skin, this is great. I've prone to dry spells every now and again and this has saved me.I have no way of finding out whether this particular product is the real deal (pure, unrefined shea butter). The quality and purity of the product both play a great role in its effectiveness and safety. I have sensitive, acne prone skin. This product hasn't caused any reactions, but it hasn't helped or hindered my acne. It's just good for dry skin.
