Worked great
It took of bit of time to understand how to use it, however, after that it was easy to use. After washing my jacket with it we tested it by putting it under the tap and the water was sliding off. Recommend this product, does the job very well!

The spray works well but perhaps the wash in detergent would have been better. Who
Item works as it should however I received the spray version not the wash in as seen in the image and description. I was in a rish and so did not query the incorrectly displaced item. The spray works well but perhaps the wash in detergent would have been better. Who knows

Easy
How glad i am that I found this product. I had a picnic bag to make. I washed the fabric with this first. Works a treat, the water just bounces off it. I can still make up my fabric as before knowing that it is now waterproof. excellent! Will be using this for other projects.

Very good product but instructions are in German
I have used Nikwax for years to care for all my outdoor gear. not the cheapest on amazon - cheaper in gooutdoors. but in lockdown you cant be picky. the only downfall with the amazon product is all the ladel is in German. You will need to read the instructions on the nikwax website.

Somehow the website does not seem to work properly, but the product seems fine!
Arrive promptly and as far as I can tell it works. The garments I washed with the product have come out looking good and now seem to have some added water protection.

Just didn't work
The project: Waterproof Two Pairs of Jeans.Execution #1: Washed both pairs of jeans in a regular washing machine with detergent and fabric softener. After complete wash cycle I proceeded to put both pairs of jeans in a bucket filled with 6l of hand-hot water and three capfuls of Nikwax (recommended were two capfuls but I live in a hard water area and after doing some research I decided that this might be best thing to do). I agitated the fabrics and left them for approx. 10min in the solution (recommended 5min). Then I agitated it some more and proceeded to rinse in cold water until water runs clear.Result #1: Next day, after the trouser dried properly, I proceeded with a waterproof test - I wet my hand and sprinkled the water onto the fabric. I have observed incredible speed in which the water got absorbed into the fabric. It was so fascinating that I repeated the same thing twice after that. I decided that my waterproofing efforts didn't work and the fabric absorbs the water 'faster' simply because I never watched this process before. Repeating the process seemed sensible.Execution #2: I placed, now dry, two pairs of jeans in a bucket with 6l of hand-hot water and added about six capfuls (or whatever there was left in the bottle, more than I used the first time around) of the solution. I proceeded with next steps as per Execution #1 and hanged the trousers to dry. Results #2: I repeated the same sophisticated test of splashing water onto the trousers and I achieved the same results (only this time I wasn't quite as excited at the speed of water being absorbed by the fabric). Conclusion: Shame I wasted the money, but one has to try those things I suppose. I probably won't be buying this product again.
