I used the Rust-Oleum 2-in-1 Filler & Sandable Primer for some minor repairs on my car, and it worked perfectly. The spray provides even coverage and fills small imperfections well, creating a smooth base that’s easy to sand down once dry. It’s quick-drying, so I didn’t have to wait long to move to the next step. The gray color also makes it easy to spot any areas that need additional sanding or filling. Overall, it’s a reliable primer that makes touch-ups straightforward.

I couldn't find this exact formula in the color white that I wanted, but the spray quality and coverage was good and the repair looks good as well. Good value for the money spent.

This filler/primer spray paint is really nice, if you give it enough time to fully dry. I am currently using it on a 3D printed project, and the results are pretty nice so far... More to come, once its finished.The directions on the spray can say that it dries to touch within 10 minutes, where you can then give it another coat if you'd like, or leave it to sit and become sandable. It says that within 2-4 hours in the correct heat & humidity, you can then begin sanding away for a nice finish.I found that when I waited the 4 hours, my piece was still somewhat tacky. Trying to sand it with 220 grit & 400 grit sandpaper would "gum up" the sandpaper... kind of hard to describe. But it makes sanding more troublesome than just sanding away the PLA plastic I'm using to print. HOWEVER, I let one of my primed pieces sit for about 24 hours. Once I had done that, the primer felt less tacky, and much more solid than before. I dont think the timing has to be THAT long for a fully cured/dried primer, but the 4 hours the can recommends doesn't seem long enough for me on larger pieces that I've primed and sanded. I'll try to update this when I've got more experience with it.

So I give this product a hi'5!!!! It's my first time using a filler/sandable spray paint ...WOW!!! I absolutely love it's performance. I mean, it made me look like a pro(I'm a newby, shhh) lol. It covered so evenly and really I never even needed to sand it. Some jobbs didn't than others but I really never knew there was a product with this type of durability and end result looking so good. It drys pretty fast and definitely does the job of filling uneven paint / Bondo areas so smoothly. I highly suggest it as it and will be ordering more. I'm redoing my motorcycle tank and back fender. I did notice to not leave it out baking in sun just FYI. Overall very happy with this product.

Always have been a big Rustolium user. Call me old school but I stick w what works and what I believe in. So I purchased this specific Auto primer “filler” to use on my storage container office remodel/upfit. Of course a used Conex shipping container has there share of bumps and bruises. I wasn’t looking for a perfect restoration, just wanted to fill some pits and edges after hitting bad rust areas w a wire brush. This done great. Some areas I applied 2X. Drys fast enough to paint over witching a half hr but I always give primer a little longer. One container I used this on, the other I used some other spray primers I had left over and wanted to use up. Why not right. So the container I used this product on turned out much nicer after spraying it w a 20V sprayer I purchased on Amazon “Dewalt battery friendly”. Couldn’t be happier. I’ve ordered 3 cases and have a some left over that I plan on using to repaint a 97 F350 body cab with. Good stuff!!!!

What else can I say, it's the OG and the best brand out there. Noone does it better. I use this to prepare my 3D prints for painting.
