Fantastic quality and taste. The instructions are very simple to follow and it is very easy to cook the rice to a resturaunt quality. It's easy to clean and it's moisture collector ensures that the condensation that rises to the bottom of the lid doesn't fall into the hot plate. It's pretty durable and I haven't gotten any burnt rice.I went from making over satuated rice in my pot to fantastic rice I barely ever have leftovers of with the very first use of this rice cooker. I highly recommend it for long term use.

Its great for someone one who is single. Unfortunately I did not check the size lol, My bad, but it was great, it works, and it came in excellent conditions.

I love this rice cooker, if you follow the directions, you will get perfect rice every time. The size is fits in cabinets without over crowding. The size is good for single people or couples. I had another brand before this one, and it was adequate for cooking rice, but this brand was better quality

We bought this rice cooker because it had a function to cook hot cereal. My husband makes steel cut oats in it every night to have for breakfast in the morning. I ordered a new one for him for Christmas so we could put one in our new RV. The product arrived in the original package with some slight damage to the package. Because it was a gift I did not open it up I just wrapped it up for Christmas. We didn't need the rice cooker right away so we put it aside till we did. It is the middle of April and my husband is just now opening up the rice cooker to use it. When he opened the box he discovered that the outside it dented pretty good. It still functions but just doesn't look as nice as the others we have previously owned. That is why I gave it 4 stars.Functionality: this is a great product. We have purchased three in the last couple of years. We originally bought this rice cooker to replace a small round crockpot that the ceramic crock had broken. This product works well. My husband loves that he can set up his cereal before he goes to bed and it's ready in the morning. It has a delay timer hat will start the cooking and then when it's done it keeps the cereal warm and till ges ready to eat it. I have also made rice in it. I love that I can set up the rice to cook and then not have to worry about it while it's cooking. The rice comes out perfectly cooked and fluffy. It is not sticky.The rice cooker has an insert for steaming a small amount of vegetables or you can hard boil five eggs. I have not done either of those functions cause I have other ways to cook those items. Overall we love this product and highly recommend it. I would definitely buy it again.

I would rate 0 stars if I could. I ordered this unit to replace a very old rice cooker I had for years (not Hamilton Beach). This unit seemed to offer all I had plus much more… I really wanted to love this cooker , unfortunately it did not work as promised. The rice I cooked - yes, I rinsed and used exactly the right amount of water, bubbled onto counter and all over unit. I wrote to HB who eventually answered only to ask if I rinse my rice. After replying yes, days later I was as asked what kind of rice I use. I answered. Days later I was told I had a defective unit which they would replace but I had to pay an additional $15.00 for shipping. Are you serious?!? All that time - weeks - going back and forth without the use of this cooker and to get one that works properly I have to pay additional money. Unfortunate and disappointing. I do NOT recommend this rice cooker.
