Very sturdy with hefty ratchets and good stabilizer bars
So far I have only tried it in the 9.8ft straight config and the 9.7 ft "A" frame config and it has worked really well. Was able to use it to now to easily get up in my attic (9.8 straight config to get into an attic from my first floor 8foot 9 inch ceilings) and to change the smoke detector battery on an 11 foot ceiling (using the 9.7 ft "A" config). Very sturdy construction and the ratchets are hefty and lock well into place. It is a bit on the heavy side but not much more than my 6 gal air compressor and in its folded up vertical config it is relatively easy for me to carry around by either slipping my shoulder under one set of 4 rungs (with a pad) or just gripping it with my hand. I'm guessing you could also carry it folded up but horizontally too. The 34" stabilizer bars keep it pretty stable when using it. It takes a bit getting used to the steps you need to go through to put it into the configuration you want to use, depending no how much space you have to unfold/fold it. Also stores away pretty nicely standing up, although the stabilizer bars can make it awkward depending on your storage space. Update 2-18-2026: While I think this is a great quality product and very sturdy, unfortunately it was too cumbersome to get it in position to climb up into my attic access in the closet off a small bedroom. Once I got it in position it worked great, but getting it to that point was very laborious. It works great in more open space, just not for this one situation. So I ended up having to return it and get a more sliding type extension ladder instead. As a side note, Bryner customer service was excellent in regards to the return process and not only gave me a refund but said to just keep the ladder, so I didn't have to return it. Wow.

Impressive
I'm not working as a tradesman (I did years ago though) so I bought this ladder for household and handyman use. It doesn't have the typical US rating certification stickers so I was curious to see if it was as sturdy as advertised. I'm glad to say it definitely is in my opinion. I've already used it several times at full extension and am impressed with the sturdiness (I'm 6'3" & 220 lbs plus tool pouch weight). I was a little apprehensive climbing up the first time using it to reattach a second story window shutter but found it to be stable and have very minimal flex. To say I'm impressed would be an understatement. In fact, I was impressed enough after using the ladder to buy the separate scaffolding support as well for some elevated work I'll be doing at my place. The only real thing I'd like to see changed with this ladder is for it to latch completely in the folded position. The two outside sections don't latch against the inner two sections when the ladder is folded for storage. The inner two sections latch against each other which keeps the unit secure enough but when carrying the folded ladder one needs to keep in mind the outer sections can move. This isn't a deal-breaker but in my opinion is a minor annoyance that could've been easily addressed. Other users have commented that the ladder itself is narrow. Yes it is but I had no issues working comfortably, it didn't feel unnatural to stand on and the wideset extensions at each end of the ladder make it secure. I've found the versatility of this ladder quite useful. The only other comment I'll add is you should remember it's a bit more to wrestle with when using it at full height as it isn't a slide up extension ladder. This means you'll have to walk it up hand over hand to use the total length but personally, I still found it be manageable. Overall, I'll say this ladder is pretty impressive.

Easy to use
Good ladder that's easy to maneuver and fold. The space between the beams is pretty narrow so if you're a larger person, you may have a little trouble.

Versatile, Sturdy, and Worth Every Penny
I’ve used a lot of ladders over the years, but this Bryner 7-in-1 folding ladder is easily one of the most versatile tools I’ve added to my setup. From the moment it arrived, I could tell it was built with serious intent—solid aluminum construction, secure locking hinges, and stabilizing feet that actually grip the ground instead of just pretending to. Setup is intuitive, and the multiple configurations are a game-changer. I’ve used it as a standard A-frame for changing light fixtures, extended it fully to clean out gutters, and even rigged it into the scaffold mode for painting. Each setup feels stable and secure, and the telescoping adjustments make it easy to fine-tune the height without wrestling with awkward sections. The 330lb weight capacity is no joke—I’ve hauled tools up and down with no flex or wobble. It’s reassuringly sturdy, even when fully extended. The ladder folds down surprisingly compact for storage, which is a huge plus when garage space is at a premium. And the blue stabilizing feet? Not just for looks—they add real traction and peace of mind. One thing I appreciate is the clear labeling and diagrams that came with it. No guesswork, no vague instructions. Just straightforward guidance that makes you feel like the ladder was designed for real people doing real work. The 3-year warranty is a nice touch too—shows the company stands behind their product. If you’re someone who juggles home projects, yard work, or even light commercial tasks, this ladder adapts to whatever you throw at it. It’s not just a ladder—it’s a multi-tool for vertical problem solving. Highly recommend for anyone who values safety, flexibility, and smart design.

Very sketchy feel when using it extended.
Ladder is good if you are using it for regular use but if you need it for higher settings I would not recommend i have tried using this ladder for higher things and it feels unsafe. That is my use for higher settings I will be returning this.
