A must have for Tesla owners
A must have if you're a tesla owner. item is well packed, well made and syncs up lovely to the car and the tesla app. initial layout is a little high, but this is hugely offset by the savings vs super charging.

Great bit of kit
Crucially allows control of car and charging via 1 app. Worth the cost and can also integrate with Solar as and when we fit it.

Almost perfect
I recently took delivery of my first electric car, a Tesla, so I thought I should get a charger installed at home.Its a nice compact unit, but I had problems getting it installed as we are in such a poor mobile signal area and I initially had no broadband either thanks to a house move and some very slow Gigaclear "engineers".Once this was resolved it has charged my car flawlessly, and I also think it looks pretty smart on the wall of our house.One downside of the captive cable is that you get dirty hands if the cable has been used overnight and it's rained.Dust and dirt from our driveway get transferred from cable to hands as you loop it back over the charger.The length of the captive cable is really useful though!I've now linked it to our Octopus Intelligent Tariff, so I'm getting much cheaper electricity overnight, which is nice (to quote the Fast Show).So overall it's been really impressive after some initial setup problems.I hope you find my review helpful.

Atrocious wifi connecting ability.
Connecting this to wifi is like the seven circles of hell. It requires 2.4ghz. But even then our wifi networks were invisible to this amateurish product. Took hours, multiple people, umpteen attempts and even then there was no obvious reason when it did connect. Seems to have extremely weak (presumably cheap) inbuilt wifi aerial. Installed now but will not buy another. And that’s before going into the other extra work required by the electrician that only this charger requires. Hopeless.

BE AWARE!
Requires a PEN protection unit on install which adds another £100 compared to other chargers. Fantastic product and the app is great.
