I'm work from home 3 days per week, so I thought that I may as well take advantage of the nice weather by working outside on our deck. The problem was that when it was sunny out, there was a lot of glare on the screen and it was really hard to see. I had initially brought out a box to act as a shade, but it was clumsy and unsightly & blew away easily. So I did some homework & I found this product and it's exactly what I need. It comes with different mounting options—permanent, where it adheres directly to the screen; and temporary, where it can slide out when not needed. I opted for temporary mounting, which is easy to figure out and easy to use. The size of the filter is EXACTLY perfect for my monitor and it definitely eliminates glare. Excellent Product!!! I would definitely buy it again!

I’ve been using this 24-inch computer privacy screen filter on my 16:9 widescreen monitor for a few months now, and it’s been literally a decent accessory for my home office. The material isn’t bulky, and once I applied it, the adhesive held it firmly in place without any noticeable bubbling or shifting over time. When I view the monitor from the front, there’s a slight dimming effect that doesn’t distract me from working; the overall color display remains quite accurate for everyday tasks. The best part is that, from the side, the screen remains hidden, which helps maintain a bit more privacy during busy work hours at home. The brightness does reduce a bit, and my eyes feel less strained from glare, especially on bright days when the ambient light is high. I most time use it for document editing and browsing, and the filter does its job. It’s literally a straightforward addition to my desk setup, even if it isn’t flawless. The protector has a great feel -- it really is like writing on paper, and the slight added resistance keeps my handwriting much neater. Putting the protector on is easy, and getting the screen protector off is much easier than getting my iPad out of its case to do so. The only negative is that when I am using fingers (not the pencil), it CAN be difficult to click through links, especially on webpages. I notice that the protector comes a little loose at the edges of my screen. However, the inconvenience is not much, and overall, the good far outweighs the bad.

Recently moved from an office to a cubicle when our office was remodeled so I wanted a little bit more privacy. These are perfect! I had to turn my brightness all the way up but that doesn't bother me. I will say, if you aren't facing head on, the edges can be blurry but to me it's worth it for the privacy.

Really bad purchase. They come with these adhesive stickers that are supposed to hold down the privacy screen in place, but they don’t work. The privacy screen will still pop out a bit and disturb the image. THAT WAS WITH BOTH PRIVACY SCREENS. Do not buy this product.
