I bought these double plugs as a back up
I bought these double-plug socket sets as a backup just in case I needed them as I like to make sure I have spare items in case of something going wrong or breaking down. That way I can just get it from the workshop and apply it instead of going looking for it around the shops that may not have it. Would buy again yes and would recommend these double plug sockets set. Sturdy good value for money and easy to use.

Good value, works well as a trailing socket for power tools
Firstly, a trained engineer, who gave one star, states that there are no clues as to where the cables go.Maybe it's because I was trained by the National Grid, but I found the letters L,N and E very easy to locate inside the socket box!There is also a helpful wiring diagram on the enclosed leaflet.It was easy to put together, and I have attached mine to an an 8mm OD lead with no difficulty. The contacts inside are NOT flimsy; any such contacts are held in place by the surrounding plastic body, and are perfectly fine.Overall, I'm very pleased with this little item and will be buying more to make up trailing leads.

Good socket.
A good socket, easy to wire cable into it but springy clips that contacts plugs pins are not so firm.Be careful if using a high power appliance, watch out if it gets hot.

This is a brilliant socket. The quality is far superior to others thet I've tried.

Does the job. This replaced a two gang rubber trailing socket that lasted more than 10 years. The plastics used here are not very thick. After one use the plastic is scuffed although it should hold up to a little more abuse.
