Good quality!
We’ve been playing with it since it arrived and we don’t have any issues. The tiles are pretty solid and smooth. We enjoy playing with it. Instruction booklet was of great help for beginners.

Love love love it!
I spent so much time looking for a set for Chinese Mahj and I'm so glad that this is the one I purchased. I already have two sets for American Mahj but I wanted a set with large tiles exclusively for Chinese play. I'm so glad I didn't get hung up with all the complaints about the size of the tiles. They're described as 1 and 1/2 inches. I measured mine and they are 1 and 5/12th of an inch - that's only 1/12th of an inch smaller than 1 and 1/2 inches and that is perfectly fine with me. I have no problem rounding up 1/12th of an inch. It probably makes it easier for people to picture the size when it's described as 1 and 1/2 rather than 1 and 5/12ths.The lettering, ink and pictures are perfect. I ordered it in blue and every one of the tiles are perfect on both sides - no scratches or smudges. There are Arabic numbers on the characters and letters on the winds so that will be helpful when teaching new players.The case is just fine. I've already taken the set of tiles in the case to friends' homes and it's holding up just fine. I don't hold it by the handle because it is very heavy and I can see where over time the case might not hold up well but I don't see that happening any time soon.The VALUE is remarkable. The price is so reasonable and the tiles are so beautiful.

Great for beginners
This mahjong set is great for beginners because of the numbering they have added on the top portuon of the tiles. It also comes with a rule book. It’s also great for those who have vision concerns/ or those wearing glasses. For the price based on usage, definitely a good deal.
