The lights on the FJ are notoriously dim. I was looking for a pretty quick fix and these have been wonderful. Highly recommend them would buy them again plug-in play rockstar, lights.

My FJ was so dark and dull inside before these light bulbs came. I replaced my trunk light, (which I didn’t even know I had lol) my dome light, and my license plate lights. They are super bright white light. No warmth to the tone at all. I recommend to anyone with a FJ cruiser. The tool came in super handy as well with extracting the bulbs.

Had these lights installed for 6 months and now they flicker so bad Ibha r to change them so I don't get a ticket.Stay clear of this brand for lights

Loved every lumin this bulb provides.

The bulbs are larger than the space and you need to force them in and even band the metal connectors. And after all that it is not fitting right inside housing. You almost feel that by driving over a bump the bulb will come lose. The light is much stronger than before. But why can't they make couple millimeters shorter?

These lights work fine. And if you're like me many of the interior lights inside your FJ Cruiser are either burnt out or old. So this set brightens things up.I have one complaint though. The listing states, "The installation video on YouTube will help you install more quickly." If you're looking for an actual video as this description states, there isn't one. They also don't have a video link of someone else's video. This is just a casual recommendation by the seller that *maybe* there are some videos on YouTube you can check out that will help you install the lights. This might be nitpicky but I literally ordered these on the basis that there was an installation video. A simple solution? Just remove this sentence from your listing so we don't waste our time looking for something that doesn't actually exist.

The interior of the FJ is pretty dark with the original bulbs and the area I wanted to brighten up most is at the trunk. During my road trips with the FJ where I have to load and unload stuff at the trunk a lot, the very dim light left a lot to be desired. So I decided to get this kit mainly to upgrade my trunk light, with the rest an option depending on the effort and as my future spares.The LED bulb for the trunk is about the same size as the original bulb, though there's a difference at the tips. The original bulb has flat pinched tips that help it sit inside the contact slots of the bulb holder making it really secure while the LED bulb doesn't. Also because of that, the LED bulb becomes slightly 'longer' for the bulb holder and I couldn't get it to sit level without risking a bent contact by apply too much pressure. Anyway, it seems to work and hasn't fallen off so it's good so far. The trunk has certainly brightened up a lot with this new LED bulb and that's what I wanted.While I was at it, I decided to go ahead and swap out the dome light bulb as well. Brighter and whiter for sure. It's great for finding things or reading, but could be too glaring at night for the passengers when I open my door. Will see if I keep it there or switch it back to the original bulb for eye comfort. Just a matter of preference but the LED bulb does work.When I change my headlights to LED, I'll do the side mirror bulb change then to match up the light color. Overall, if looking to brighten up the interior of the FJ, these bulbs will do the job.

These do work but you have to jam them in because the are not 1 to 1 in length so they are sketchy.
