Great little lock
Actually bought two of these locks for my work bike and have not been disappointed. One was meant to stay at work and one for home for taking to the shops etc but as its so light and easy to carry, I only use the one and have no problem carrying it around on my bike. As with all Kryptonite locks it feels secure and is well made. Its a lot lighter than you would expect which means that you can easily carry it around without it feeling heavy. The bracket works well and keeps the lock secure. Its probably safer than longer D Locks because of its short design which means that it would be impossible to get a car jack through to prize it open and without specialist cutting tool, I doubt anyone could cut through it. It just doesnt fit through my back wheel which is no problem as I have special fixings to prevent the quick release being undone and the wheels taken (which is what happened to my old bike!)

Good product
The lock itself is a beast. Strong, pretty light and easy to transport. It's a bit small to get around standard signposts where I'm from but with a bit of cajoling it can be made to work.

Mini locks just make sense.
Perfect lock size, 90% of the time I can get my rear frame and wheel locked up to a post but if not I use the Sheldon lock method with the back wheel. Good for heading down the shops but still wouldn't use a lock for long unattended. I was going to buy the New York Fhag but what's the point? Once the power tools come out it doesn't make a difference. So this is strong enough for everything except power tools.

Really solid lock.
Please note I'm not going to talk about packaging. Its a waste of time. The lock is a really nice bit of kit. Solid & weighty, you could walk a rabid dog and send it scurrying. You could wack a thief and send him scurrying too without damaging the lock. Really easy to install the mount supplied. Everything about it gives off the money well spent feeling. Easy to lock & unlock. Whilst riding you still feel balanced and can barely notice the lock is there.

Small and tough. I can only lock my rear ...
Small and tough. I can only lock my rear wheel to the seat tube, or the top tube to a handy railing, unless I have a wire loop handy. On the other hand you don't have to carry and extra kilo of steel everywhere you go.

Light, qualitative lock, but small size
It is a good qualitative lock. It only has one bolt on one side. With two, one would have to cut through both sides to get it open. It is really mini size: can't lock any of my wheels to the frame.

Good solid lock, but heavy.
This is heavy but it gives you confidence it won't get broken into quickly. They also provide lock insurance along with the product. Kryptonite are the best for a reason, I feel safe locking my bike with this.

Perfect for the job and quick city rides.
I really like this lock. I've had two of them and I plan to buy a third soon. They aren't too heavy and they fit in a back pocket, so that's nice and portable. I used to use the NYC Chain whenever I was out, but my back is beginning to tell me that's no longer the right option. I'll probably be using two of these minis when I lock it up since they collectively weigh a lot less.Story time:My first one was on a bike that was stolen from my old apartment building's bike room. Seemingly they broken into the bike room to specifically steal my bike. To my knowledge the lock never failed (in the bike room). When I went in to see where it was stolen from, I could see that the thieves actually cut the bike rack to remove my bike. The lock was more rugged and harder to break. I was using wheel locks at the time, so only had this lock on the front wheel and they couldn't get it out without breaking the actual bike rack. (learned pro-tip: pay as much attention to what you're locking to as to what you're locking up). So this thing did it's job.No bike lock is 100% secure. The main point of a lock is to make it a pain in the ass to steal, or at least to slow the criminal down. These little locks do that job pretty well. Sure, there are better and stronger locks. But from the perspective of actually using them, these are a lot more practical for a level of security that is closer to the NYC line of locks. Just don't leave your bike outside overnight. No lock will ever be able to fully protect your bike.
