I bought this for 2750Rs. It was a new model and just launched and i know portronics are good in bluetooth speakers/headsets. So did a try since i was looking for a budget friendly bar speaker. I was not wrong and yes it delivers a decent output. I was not even with 40% volume and my room/hall (18*12) is full with this volume. It produces clear voice and music with decent bass (Can't expect to be like a woofer but yes if you can control it with equalizer you will be able to but again it is not meant for bass lovers). I tried HD Movies in Airtel Set Box, OTT using chrome cast and Bluetooth with mobile and I think it remains same quality with no disturbance. Tried to the max and it is still good and clear no distortion. Bluetooth is quite good and its range is more than 20 to 25 feet (did try beyond that). Remote is like 3.75/5 it needs little focus towards speaker while you try to function it but it was not annoying. Now need to check the life time of this sound bar. Will keep you posted if I see any drawback..

Reviewing just after receiving and trying it. Will update if anything changes.It is definitely powerful and loud and the higher volume levels. It is supposed to be 80W and indeed seems to be so. Can be used for any media consumption, i am using it with my PC and PlayStation for gaming and watching things. It has different sound modes for music and TV watching but i am simply using it in music mode for everything. I cant tell the difference between the modes.Sound quality is very clear. Not mind-blowing level of clarity that you would expect from a ₹20k-priced Sony or Harmann. Perfectly serviceable for the untrained ear; but not for audiophiles. Treble and Bass are well balanced, not too much of one or the other, that's according to my own preferences. Other reviews have said that bass is lacking.I tried it with AUX and Bluetooth input. Works mostly fine on both, BUT:On bluetooth, the volume levels are a little scaled up, i.e there was only one volume level where it was good, one level above it was too loud, one level below it was too quiet. Otherwise connected quickly and sound was great.On AUX, make sure to use a good quality cable or there will be some sound artefacting (background white noise). Other than that, works fine with Aux input also.Have not tried USB input. It has a USB A type port, so you will mostly need a USB A male to male cable to use this input, or you can plus in a memory card reader into it.IMPORTANT UPDATE: It cannot take audio input from USB. Only from audio jack or optical port. If you were planning to connect it to your PC or Console or TV via USB, it will not work, you will need an Aux cable. I don't know why they included the USB port, if it cannot take input from there. reducing one star because of this.

Portronics has been one of the higher quality Indian brands I’ve tried, and this speaker holds true to that experience. The build quality is great, and overall the product feels satisfying.Audio quality is amazing! I’m using this with my TV with a Digital/Optical (optical cable purchased separately) signal and the experience is great. This speaker can get very loud very quickly, and still maintains high clarity.It would've been great if the volume could have increased with a bit more granularity. Right now, going from vol step 3 to 4 increases the volume suddenly to too loud. Additionally, there is no actual numerical indication of what the volume setting is on the speaker even though it has a tiny led screen to indicate modes. So it's a bit of hit or miss.Finally, the remote is simple and just about does the job. It needs a couple of AAA batteries that are not included in the package. Please note that if your house faces power outages, you will have to manually turn this on every time using the remote. And every time this turns on, it will announce that it has indeed “turned on” — no way to turn that off.If you’re looking for a light, all in one home theatre feel, this will do the job well!

With a budget of 3500 i wanted a Bluetooth speaker with better output. So, i found this speaker which has 80 w output and priced near my budget, no other brand was selling with similar output. I watched the product video which is uploaded in Amazon along with product pics. After going through it i decided to go for this. Here are my views about this product.👍* Simple design.* In built voice while power on/off or changing mode is nice soft spoken.* Audio output in Bluetooth mode is decent.* You get a remote with speaker which works👎* In Bluetooth mode after sometime the audio goes out of sync with the video on tv. So, Bluetooth mode can only be used to play audio songs.* Due to above issue i had to buy aux cable(i bought portronics aux cable). There was a huge drop in the audio level when i played the same video with aux cable. When i increase speaker volume the the bass level starts to increase which made the dialogues unclear. I adjusted settings in my tv and speaker volume and finally somehow managing.*In the video uploaded in Amazon product page the guy told that this speaker gives 8 hours of backup. However, this is completely false. This doesn't have any battery, which later i found confirmed by portronics themselves in question answer section. I want that video guy to return my money, for giving false information (well for future purpose i have captured that video).* Quality of the remote is not that great and no battery included.* I got a small card within the speaker box which had QR code and a number to register for warranty. I scanned the QR code and wow my mobile shows link not available. Fine, then i used that mobile number and send the invoice via whatsapp to get registered. It's been 2 weeks now and still no response from other side.*The return/replacement option - i thought since I was not happy with the sound output i will return this product or if not then replace and try with other might be problem with my item. But when i click return i am getting option to arrange callback from tech support. What they will help me with, i am not happy with the sound output, what they can do more apart from telling me over call to change sound mode/change tv settings/change aux cable. There also i got disappointed and started using the speaker as it is.* HDMI arc option missing in this speaker, i felt that should have been included at this price.Conclusion: definitely not recommended, if you can increase your budget for better brand even though with less output atleast i hope it will not have AV sync issue or aux mode output issue.

dont buy this product........only voice 0ver sound...... .and very poor base....try to zebronics and boat
