I love Smallrig kit: light, dependable and great value for money. These clamps are no exception with a wide range of jaw capacity and an extremely secure attachment. I've used these for many challenging filming jobs the toughest of which was to use a pair of clamps to attach a camera and a flood light to the front of an Underground loco to film a driver's eye view. Cable ties for safety but the clamps remained tight and secure during 90 minutes of filming. Given the harshness of the ride this was very impressive. I've used these many times along with the Smallrig magic arm to solve problems with lighting or action camera mounting for TV shoots. Great quality, beautifully engineered, these clamps are in my day carry filming bag forever.

No product from SmallRig has ever let me down, and these clamps are no exception. Strong grip, versatile threads, and built to last. Whether it’s cameras, lights, or anything else I throw at them, they just work. Exactly what I expect from this brand – reliable, affordable, and professional.

These are very well engineered clamps and they hold strong all night long! I used them on a DJ booth to hold RGB tube lights and they stayed in place. They are very well finished, no sharp edges and the threads are great so no stiffness in the screw. Rubber inside the clamps help grip. Highly recommended.

These clamps are super strong, but be warned! If you are using these on any kind of filming equipment, the handles to tighten the clamps are fairly loose and any kind of movement will result in them rattling (As I found out after filming for over 2 hrs, only to have this annoying audio rattle that couldn't be heard at the time) super annoying. A bit of electrical tape soon fixed the problem, but this could have easily been solved in manufacturing with a rubber sleeve.

Good for fixing camera lights

Just recently purchased two flashlites, stands and umbrellas etc, these clamps are solid and heavy, will come in really handy when holding leaves with bugs on

I already own a number of Manfrotto Superclamps which are extremely robust, but also bulky and heavy. I needed some flexible arms and clamps to hold pieces of foam core, card or diffusion material in place on my set. The Smallrig flexible arms and clamps are ideal for this purpose giving me more room (and more hands!) to work with whilst freeing up my Manfrotto Magic Arms and clamps for heavier items. Very happy. Going to order some more.

Uso queste pinze in accoppiata al braccio snodato da 11" sempre di Smallrig per fare riprese laddove non ho modo di piazzare un treppiede: è un attimo attaccare il braccio ad una mensola, un mobile, un tubo, qualsiasi cosa purché di spessore non superiore ai 4cm circa. Usate in accoppiata ad una X-T4 + lente per un peso complessivo di circa 1kg. Sono una persona esigente e stranamente in questo caso non ho neanche un solo appunto da fare. Stra-consigliate

Utilisées pour fixer des accessoires (batteries externes, éclairages...) sur mes trépieds ou d'autres support. Ces pinces sont robustes et assurent un très bon maintient. PS: je les ai même acheté en plusieurs exemplaires..

Never understood why people used these until I tried them and was blown away by their clamping force, ease of use and consistency in grip, they do not loosen over time and have been my go-to since. Only note would be to be careful when clamping something fragile as they will easily go right through it before you realise.
