I've used this particular scope a number of times now and for its price I think it's excellent. The screen size is just right, the handle makes it easy to hold while maneuvering the scope stem and the picture quality and brightness is more than adequate for the purpose. Bear in mind that a high resolution borescope is very expensive, but this one is fine for ordinary tasks around the house or in the garage. The cable is nice and stiff and holds its shape well. I like to mark a small white line on the "up" side of the lens so I can tell what the orientation is when going into the search space. Visually the light will show about 3 to 4 feet before it becomes really dim. For the price it does what I need it to do very will.

I'm a professional mechanic and needed a boroscope for my home garage, so I picked up this one as it was well reviewed and reasonably priced. Build quality is quite good, the screen is bright, and the camera quality is clear. I've used it for several projects without issue now.The only thing I'd note is that it's mildly inconvenient to have to remove the cable every time you put it back in the case, and my suggestion would be to mold the foam in such a way that it could be put back without disassembly. I was overall satisfied.

There are too many nice things to say. It arrived as expected and was well packed for shipping, to prevent in-transit damage. The deciding factor that swayed me to this product was the hard-side case for storage. It turns out the case was also foam padded inside. Aside from that, I was surprised at the product quality. It was better than I expected. This is a precision instrument, handy to have and can have many uses and applications. Easy to operate and explore the navigation menu. It arrived ready to go and the connectivity was not difficult, just use care in plugging the cam-cord into the controller/viewer. Read the instructions and maintain the charging protocols. I expect with proper use and care, this device will last a long time and prove it was well worth the cost. The convenience is an added bonus. The accessories were very good and I was pleased I chose this product. I will likely purchase clear protective sleeves for the camera to prevent damage to the lens. The medical supply should have these available.

Bought this borescope to check the cylinders of my dodge magnum, initially I borrowed a friend's more expensive older borescope, but it was really blurry and black and white. Took a chance with this borescope, and when it arrived, I was impressed by the quality of the borescope and all the extras it came with such as the extra attachments and the nice case it came with. When turning the borescope on, the screen was bright, sharp and had a nice clear colorful picture. Initially when using it to check the cylinders in the magnum, I was impressed with the clarity and clear picture. Unfortunately, the picture was so clear that it showed that the valve seats had failed in the engine and needed to be replaced. I enclosed some of the pictures that the borescope took! The only improvement that could be done that I would have to say was that the instructions are somewhat confusing, and it took a little bit of trial and error to figure out which button does which, but the picture, screen clarity and build quality of the borescope far exceeded my expectations. It is definitely a great borescope for the money and a great value that I would have expected to pay more for it.

The image is really crisp for the price and of course it has the built in screen so youre not messing around with the camera/cable plus your phone. I cannot compare it to more expensive brands/models but for an average Joe this is as much as I would need and for the price you get a lot of bang for your buck. The cable can also hold its shape, IE you can bend it at a right angle and it will hold that shape. Some models on here seem to have a floppy cable but this doesn't. The LED is bright and really helps.

This is a great little scope for the money. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it works and how easy it is to operate. I love that it is stand alone and doesn't need to connect to another device to function. It came charged and I have used it for about 2 days solid and still doesn't need a charge. It is lightweight and seems durable. There are two cameras on it, one straight ahead and one at a 90... I didn't know it had this feature when I ordered it and it turns out to be extremely helpful to be able to switch between the two to figure out your position and what exactly you are looking at. Used it to help clear debris out of under slab DWV piping.

First, I removed the ‘cage’-style guard from a standard 120 volt, plug-in trouble light . Then I taped it & the SCOPE to a 4-ft. section of Klein fiberglass ‘fishing’ rids ( as used by electricians ) .Kneeling in front of the fireplace, I added additional 4-ft. rod lengths as required.The LED light bulb was sturdy enough to lead the way…brushing up against the chimney tile and protecting the scope camera ( positioned slightly below -see: pic ) from damage ! Not to mention greatly increasing the available light !The scope paid for itself about 10-times over in a half hour. -JJ ( @ Detroit )
