Not what i need
Loads of retro games... not the ones I played in my childhood hence returning

Its exactly as described
A tiny piece of wonders. Non stop gaming with cheats built in games so you can finally finish that game you struggled in your childhood. And I belive this is an excellent present for the 8 - 15 yo kids. Very satisfied of it.

It works it doesn't work
When I got it, it started straight away. Went back after a hour and wouldn't turn on. Then when playing it turned itself off.Of the games on it, I think the majority are Japanese versions and many duplicates games across the emulators. PS 1 and Snes games are hit and miss, but mostly not worth trying to play, with really laggy and teary gameplay. Some makes the character move too quickly as well. But for the price you will get a lot you can play of the 8 and consoles ones. So you would get value for it, but like mentioned PS1 and Snes are limited choices of games working right.I would have kept it without said problems perhaps. Disappointed that PS1 and Snes struggled so much, but after looking at a lot of different reviews, most of the consoles struggle with them as well.

Picture quality not particularly HD, some very poor running games
Despite the fact this plugs in via HDMI the visuals are definitely not HD. Pixels are blurry and basically look like a composite quality blown up to a bigger size, rather than the crisp individual pixels expected from HD.There’s no option to change screen ratio so some games are stretched out and on an older tv (which handles only 720p or 1080p) the screen borders are missing so you miss out on text and other screen visuals.Games are dubiously named so it can be impossible to find a specific one, especially as they are in no particular order.Double Dragon is awful, runs at about 10 fps and is unplayable, I know that’s only one game but it’s such an iconic one that it disappoints massively. From what i’ve played so far it’s about a 30/70 ratio of running well and running so slow it borders on unplayable. A v P is perfect as is Final Fight, Aliens, Golden Axe, Dragon Breed and In The Hunt wade through treacle. The sound is largely awful too, full of blips and glitches.Mainly that’s the arcade emulation, haven’t even got to SNES or MD yet …….On the plus side, the controllers are reasonable, the buttons and sticks all work as expected and that’s about it …..
