Dowsil 791 Sealant White 310ml

Used to seal a double glazed UPVC window frame and brick wall. Easy to apply, good adhesion and gap filling. Cured ok in lowish outside temperature. Looks a good finish. Dowsil is a reliable manufacturer.

I've used this for a variety of outdoor sealing tasks, it bonds very well to brick, mortar and uPVC. It also works great indoors as well, especially where regular acetoxy have trouble bonding to paints, and it has no strong odour which is good plus when using inside. A couple of words of warning however: 1) This stuff is thicker and tackier than your regular sealant and will make an absolute mess if you're not careful. 2) Although it is white as described, it's not the same brilliant white you'll get with a normal acetoxy silicone, I would describe this as a very slight beige-grey tint

Easy to use and not messy like many others I have used.

Best I've used. Used this to fix a leaking window its now water tight. Also used this to seal around new windows fitted. Its not to bad to work with, bit of a nightmare to get off your hands though. This stuff seem to be flexable once dry and doesnt seem to shrink like others i've used. Will be sticking to this producted well worth the money.

It did the job for me.

Sealed some bespoke fitted wardrobes. Should be able to paint over but not good for a upvc window shelf as it's not white.

How am I supposed to use it, it never came with a nozzle to connect!

When it arrived the nozzle was fitted to neck but all bent. Then when I went to use it started leaking from round neck of tube it had also split. But used for little job then had to throw away. So expensive for what I was able to do.
