M-Wave

Solid, durable and useful would be how I'd describe this box, used it for a few months now and I've drilled a hole into it to put my e-bike battery in. So please with this and it was so easy to fit it with the 2 plates that came with it.For extra peace of mind I may put a couple of nuts on the underside, as the screws do loosen over time but that's not a complaint at all.Solid item, would recommend and buy again, the space inside is enough for a large helmet and a chain and/or d-lock, great value for money and I've finally found a suitable option to place my e-bike battery safely whilst riding, and the lock is a bonus for when i need to pip into a shop.

As far plastic boxes go it'spretty decent. Well made enough that it won't fall apart but at the end of the day it's just a plastic box with a hinge. The only real downside to a plastic box is the noise of items rattling about inside so you probably will want to line it with a towel, bag or something suitable. You might get lucky where the pre drilled holes line up where needed but most likely you'll have to work it out yourself to get fitted to your pannier rack. Once on it's solid enough. The lock mechanism is a bit naff and cheap so don't really bother with it.

Great box for the price, been out in heavy rain and sprayed from hosepipe, no water ingress. Good fastenings, lock easy to operate. Holds binoculars, flask, sandwiches, basic meds with room to spare.

Looks smart, can fit butty box and a few essentials.Badly fitting lid so bungee required to keep shut.

Great size, great thickness of the plastic, feel very sturdy until you get to the cheap crappy lock.I fitted my pannier frame, then the M-wave box and then tested the lock twice and the thin U shaped metal clip holding the lock in place fell off. Why didnt they use a hex shaped locking ring that is very common on these types of locks. Why cheapen what seems a sturdy pannier box with a cheap crappy lock. I know its never going to keep theives out but at least the lock helps keep the lid closed and stay closed. They lost stars for that as that needs improving as a hex ring wouldnt cost much.

Good product , unfortunately the box bracket and box holes clashed with my existing metal bike rack . Had to use cable ties to fasten the product in place while I figure a long term fix . Be good if the metal bracket plates had other holes to give more options.

This box is exactly what I needed for my Raleigh bike. It's just the right size, the brackets fit the rack without any modifications and it's very sturdy.I chose this one also because of the two clips to hold the lid closed. Other boxes need a key and I felt this was a bit fiddly. This box has a key and lock but you don't have to use it to secure the lid because of the clips.Overall I'm thrilled with this box and would recommend it.
