Instruction Fixes:
Here are the fixes for the bad instructions, they should make sense as you’re looking at the instructions:Step 3 of the instructions will tell you to screw the “BB” labeled screws into the sides of the rack (pieces C & D). This isn’t possible because there is no plastic piece to screw them into there. You’re supposed to screw them into the lid (piece B) during Step 10.Step 13 is pretty confusing as the picture really doesn’t show you which part of piece “MM” goes on the “door” vs. the floor of the rack. The larger part with the two screws already in it goes on the floor — but the smaller part needs to be screwed into the “door,” which doesn’t have any holes in it. You can just force the screws in pretty easily though with your screwdriver, and they accounted for slight inaccuracies in your screw placement I guess by allowing you to adjust the other side of the “MM” piece to match the holes on the floor piece.Lastly, the pictures that show where the “AA” screws go during Steps 7 & 11 are terrible, but it’s easy to intuit.I think it’s worth buying if you like how it looks though. My “door” turned out a little flimsy, but doesn’t really even need to be functional anyways. I used a power drill to make sure the rack rails were snug, but you probably don’t have to do that.

👍
This is quite sturdy. I will note that the rack is just a hair narrower than 19”, at least the way I put it together. As a result, the ears of everything I’ve put in so far have scratched the wood a bit.The manual I received swaps some of the dowels and cam lock screws in diagrams. If you’ve assembled IKEA furniture you should be able to figure it out though—if the hole has a nylon ring, that’s where you want your screws.

Does what it should
It’s true that the directions are kind of useless. If you just look at the pieces and hardware it’s not too hard to figure out tho. Feels sturdy enough

Great product. Wish I had done it sooner.
A really nice and solid product. Assembly was easy, all my sound equipment fit perfectly and it looks great in the Studio. I also added the pull out storage draw to take up the unused open space, which I use to store the wireless mics and other accessories.

Instructions are the worst I’ve ever seen
Will update after installation, but the assembly instructions are the absolute worst. So many steps missing. Would NOT recommend to anyone that is not handy. Sincerely impossible to assemble with the directions provided, and many assumptions needed to be made.

Okay Cabinet. Wildly Expensive.
It’s really about 3.25 stars!Okay, this cabinet is made of high-density fiber board with a vinyl veneer. Think Ikea. Be careful not to strip out screws with this fiberboard. It is packed pretty well. It looks nice although I had a few blemishes when I received it. Touched them up. The design is fine too. It will do what you need. That’s the good parts.I cannot imagine worse instructions! You’ll simply have to figure this out on your own. Instructions show different fitting placement. However, stay away from the alcohol and you’ll figure it out eventually - but you may walk away with less hair for your efforts,This is wildly expensive for what it is. It will do what you need, but it is overpriced by about 100%.

Had this not been scratched, it would have been a 5 star review
I'm going to start off with the bad...I was very disappointed in the number of scratches on the outside of one of the side panels. It was packaged very well with the box having some major corner protectors in the main corners, and adequate foam between pieces, as well as sides, tops, bottoms. So I know this didn't happen in transit and I noticed it right away while removing pieces from the box. Add to this, the glue/adhesive was very poorly wiped off where they stuck the melamine to each edge of the mdf. Both scream poor QA and is very disappointing to me since this is a Gator product. I have purchased a lot of Gator products through the years for my wife's gear in her gigging band. This particular rack was purchased for our new church plant. Had I not needed it right away, I would have sent it back or even made my own. However, due to the time sensitivity of this project, I had no choice but to keep it and use it. I also had to drill 4 holes for the hinges. They were pre-drilled on the bottom piece, but not the actually "drawer". Further shows the lack of quality inspection. Now with the good...everything else was what I expected. It assembled easy enough and is real sturdy when fully assembled. I was impressed with the casters. I was expecting tiny 1" junk casters, and was surprised to see it came with 2", nice braking swivel caster for all 4 corners. This would easily be a 5 star product worth the price tag, had it been inspected prior to packaging. I don't know if I will order another Gator Frameworks product in the future. Had the scratches been on the inside face of the side wall, or the bottom face of either top or bottom, I wouldn't complain at all since it would be hidden. But having the largest face all scratched up and glue streaks around every edge, disappointment in Gator is an understatement at this point.
