I haven't smelt the original, but this smells really good
This fragrance has good longevity and projection. I honestly think this could be unisex, as it doesn't lean overly male but it is not sweet and feminine either. It is woody, earthy and a little bit spicy. It does smell mysterious! I really like this one.

Defective bottle? STRONG rubbing alcohol opening and remaining notes...worst headache
I love the idea of this company, as I love essential oils. I was excited to try Mystery, although I was put off by the strong rubbing alcohol odor that emitted from the bottle.When I sprayed it on, the rubbing alcohol opening notes remained, even after 3-4 hours. I was trying to give it some time to dry down and reveal more depth, but the rubbing alcohol notes were just overpowering. I even got a headache. I tried washing it off with hand soap, but that didn't help. I finally had to use 90% rubbing alcohol to remove the fragrance. Then I followed it up with a baking soda+water scrub. Thankfully, most of the fragrance was removed, but I was left with a headache.I'm not sure if I received a defective bottle, but I'm not sure I would recommend this fragrance to others. The rubbing alcohol odor was just too strong and overpowering. I would have liked to see more depth to the fragrance, but the rubbing alcohol notes completely overpowered any other notes.

Smells amazing it can be an everyday scent , mild and yet a head turner

Great scent for all occasions!
Mystery smells sooooo good! It's similar to Nasomatto's Black Afgano, with an infusion of vanilla, cinnamon, coffee bean, and frankincense. Plus, it's way more affordable!
