is good quality and was very easy to replace
The strap arrived very quickly, is good quality and was very easy to replace. This is the second time I have replaced the strap on my watch. For anyone doing this for the first time, the secret is to release the old strap by pushing in one end of the tiny spring loaded rods holding the strap to the metal clasp and watch body. Reverse the process to put the new strap on. You'll need a strong pointed metal object for this - I used the metal probe on one of the leads from a voltameter.

Fine replacement - fitting instructions here
Got this to replace the strap on my SGW-100 watch because the old one was split. Note my watch is the (probably older) model, not the SGW-100-1VH, but it fits all the same.Thought you might want some guidance on replacing the strap. Using the photos as reference, the key thing to bear in mind is that the strap-retaining pins are spring-loaded, so you have to find something to press down on them to pop them out. After fiddling with a ballpoint pen for a few minutes, I realised I needed something sharper so I used the pointed end of a pair of scissors - see the pictures. I guess a paperclip end would have sufficed, if you're feeling nervous about taking scissors near your new strap! Push the pin down and under the retaining clip and you will be able to ease the clip off. Once the clip is off, poke the pin out of the old strap hole to remove it completely.Clean the pins and clips with WD-40. To fit the new strap, first make sure you're fitting the correct one! The longer strap goes on the bottom of the watch face. Hold it in position, take a pin and push it most of the way through the strap hole. Take a clip and place it so that it lines up with the pin head on one end - call it the bottom end - then push the pin through a little more to engage it with the clip hole at that end. You'll be left with the pin head at the top end waiting to engage with the other end of the clip. At this point, use the sharp end of your scissors to push the head under this end off the retaining clip. Then squeeze the clip against the strap with your thumb until you hear the faint click of the pin head popping up through the hole at the top end (the end you're working on). Then do the same with the other bit of strap. That's it - hope that's clear and good luck!

Replacement strap fit Casio SGW-100
When the first strap on my watch broke the replacement price was so extortionate that I purchased another identical watch for a few pence more. At least the cost of a replacement strap has now come down significantly to a reasonable price.I was wary that this strap may not fit my older model watch, but it does. It's a bit fiddly to fit, but not difficult. Care and patience is the key to refitting the strap.I tried one initially for my replacement watch and now I have also replaced the strap on my older watch and also have one spare. The strap is the least reliable part of this watch, but since it is used every day this does not surprise me.At least I can now replace it easily.
