Standard Petzl quality, which is to say excellent.
Lovely bit of kit at a very good price. I tend to buy Petzl more often than not, and have never regretted that decision.

Sure beats a prusik.
Much better than a prusik knot. Slides up the rope easily and bites nicely. The handle gives you a solid grip. Have been using this on dynamic 9.8mm rope band it bites just fine even though it isn't recommended. I've hung on this with all of my weight (80kg+) hand it didn't slip or damage my rope.
