A simple and easy to use product that does what it needs to, gives you peace of mind that stones and dirt isn't going to scratch or contaminate your paint work.

Bought this when I bought my new car. It works, but make sure you a large size bucket or else it does not sit on the bottom of the bucket as snuggly as it should.

This is so simple but so great. Sits at the bottom of your bucket and probably leaves 6 to 7cm space at the bottom. This stops you reaching the bottom of the bucket and dredging up the grit to rub all over your car. Daft how something so simple can be so pleasing.

This is a pretty good fit in my bucket (marked 14L), and with internal height of 260mm. According to the packaging, the Scratch Shield should fit a bucket which has an internal diameter of 238mm measured inside 65mm up from the bottom. In practice it's best if the bucket has a flat (not convex) bottom, and the draft angle matches that of the feet, but you can't really expect a perfect fit. The feet will probably stay in place while the Scratch Shield is in the bucket, but they don't clip on very securely.

Just falls into several bits every time I lift it from the bucket to clean it. Now purchased single moulded grit guards, which are infinitely superior to this cheap and flimsy thing.

Great value...does exactly what it's supposed to do.

Doesn't hold in bucket

The fins keep falling off. I will have to superglue them on.
