Verified SS hardware with a magnet. Strong and durable enough for my application. Adjustment is predictable and locks in resistance setting fairly well. I can see this hinge working well for light- and medium-duty applications. Note, this does not collapse to 0 degrees (an action similar to closing a book). Its more like down to 5 degrees. Keep that in mind when ordering. For my application this was not a problem, but I can see it being an issue for others. Overall, I would buy this again. I would recommend it for marine applications.

Used this on my Duet i5 monitor to keep it from moving up or down. It works really nice. It came on time and undamaged. This keeps the LCD tilted in one place.

The hinges finely gave up the ghost on my fiberglass, 1995 camper shell. The original manufacturer no longer in business, they were located with nothing more than a patent number and of course, Amazon.com. Work just like they're designed, imagine that if you can.

Great Hing very strong perfect for my project

There are dark stains within the clear hexagonal prism. The 3D CAD model was very accurate. The torque adjustment is nonlinear to the degree that the screw is turned, which is as expected for this sort of design. Functionally, it seems fine, though I haven't fully tested it in it's application, yet. I have to redesign the envelope to cover the hexagonal prisms. Given that, I think it's fair to withold the last star until I can cover the blemish and fully test it. I'll update soon.
