Perfect addition to your hiking list.
Currently walking the Camino Porto (coastal route) and the Source Convertube is great! Makes easy access while walking. No more trying to reach for the water bottle and placing it back without having to stop and take off your backpack (like I did last year walking the Camino Frances). I highly recommend this product.

Halleluyah! It fits with no leaks!
I love this right out of the box! Used it all day and totally happy with the performance. Finally, a tube system that fits the Smart water and other bottles with No Leaks! It’s sturdy without being heavy. Super easy to connect and use. The siphon tube is adjustable length so it will reach all the way to the bottom of my 1 liter Smartwater bottle. It has a small valve one way on top to prevent it from creating a vacuum and keeps the water flowing. **UPDATE** Took it on a multi-day backcountry trip with many refills on my disposable 1L Smartwater bottles. The threading held up perfectly, the bite sipper valve and tube are sturdy and delivered fresh needed hydration all day with no hassles. No leaks! Love that it has other bottle adapters. My hiking buddy is ordering one!

Very nice product
I was using a similar item, but after five years of heavy use, needed a replacement. I connect this to either a 1 or 2 liter Platypus bladder or 1 liter Smartwater bottle. I was a bit fearful that this new product would meet my expectations. It actually went beyond. I like the design of the mouthpiece much better than the Camelback mouthpiece that I was using. The hosing length was perfect. I had to cut the tubing and reattach the mouthpiece in order to get a magnet on the tubing for prevention of the tubing flopping all over the place. The product comes with multiple adaptors, which is very nice if one is using a wide mouth bottle. The weight is minimal. This is something that I would recommend to anybody that uses a hydration system.

Very versatile, but too durable!
Works and fits very well with my Nalgene, but the straw is a bit hard to get water from because of how thick it is. I didn't really have any issues with leakage because it has multiple ways to prevent it (the stopper and a cover). It's certainly very durable because of its thick construction, but because of that, the straw becomes a bit cumbersome and gets in the way a lot. It's as easy to clean as any other bladder with a straw. I would still recommend this product if you don't want or need to use a bladder for your hike!

Great for backpacking
I used this hydration system with a Smart Water bottle during a 12 day backpacking trip. It was wonderful not having to stop and have someone help me with my water bottle every time I needed a drink. I didn’t have any trouble with it leaking. Great solution for backpackers.

Buy a hardside hydration kit instead! Worth spending another $6
Buy the Hardside Hydration kit instead. This is not worth saving the $6~10. I suppose it works, but I am very unimpressed for 30 bucks. The component and tube quality isn't great and leaves a lot to be desired. There is some additional functionality for bottles other than a nalgene or other large mouths, but the nalgene conversion is the clear reason to buy this besides other cheaper kits. I will have it as a back up, but i have also bought the Hardside Hydration kit and it is much higher quality and even has a handle on their lid which is perfect for a lanyard or strap. the Hardside kit also has a quick disconnect which is very convenient when needing to remove the bottle and fill or change to a fresh bottle without having to mess with the hose inside my packs.

Assorted caps
Appreciated assorted caps although I hoped one would Gatorade bottle threads.

As someone who does alot of solo hikes one of my pevs is that I have to keep stopping to have a drink. In winter it's annoying because I need to remove the rain cover from my bag and in summer it's a pain because I'm to hot to be bothered (ends up with me behind dehydrated). Honestly this works great with my camelbak water bottle. I've had no leaks or fitment issues (used 3 times for 5-6 hour hikes). The tube is a little long but if I want I'm sure I could cut it. The mouthpiece is good enough quality and the cap holds well. Only thing to make it ... 6/5 starts, would be an included tube cleaner. I have recommended this to many others and they like it as well :)

Not worked with Indian mineral water bottles. Worked perfect with cold drink water bottles. Lil difficult to drink water u have to bite the" mouth tube" a little to suck d water properly.

It was easy enough to set up with my Nalgene bottle, but unfortunately it was like trying to drink water through a punctured straw - almost impossible. A lot of air was seeping in through the mouthpiece and prevented vacuum to build up and pull water from the bottle, making totally it useless. I found some other Amazon customers (low rated reviews) having similar problem. It seemed broken, so I contacted Source who were helpful, and after a few email exchanges they agreed to send me a replacement unit. Unfortunately, I had to pay an extra 100 SEK customs fee to EU/Sweden - making the purchase end up at SEK 340 - after all efforts and extra cost, it better hold up and prove its value!
