I have MS and am going through the menopause, so I am suffering from hot flushes and heat intolerance. I already have cool gel pads, but these are quite heavy to carry with you and heat up quite quickly. When I read the descriptions of these cooling cloths, I really couldn't see how they would work well, but the reviews convinced me.They arrive quickly in a resealable pouch, which is worth keeping if you want to take the cloth with you in a bag on a trip etc. The instructions say to wet the cloth, wring it and then flick it. Once I had done that, it was amazingly cool! It felt lovely over my burning hands (MS) and hot neck (menopause). Once it warms up near your skin, you can either move to a part of the cloth not already used or just flick the cloth again and it cools immediately. My cool pads take ages to cool down again. Obviously these cloths are a bit damp, but do not leave you wet at all.I really don't know how these cloths work, but they do. They feel like a thin microfibre cloth, but lovely and soft, so gentle on my painful hands. The large one will be brilliant to cool my whole body in the summer, and can also be worn as a cooling scarf or headscarf. The smaller ones are great for my hands, and could be worn as a neck tie.These cloths have improved my symptoms immensely and come highly recommended. For what they do, I think they are a great price.

Not sure it’s any better than a wet flannel. I’m just not sure that this is that good. I soak it, wring it out, shake it and put it on.You do get wet with this and it only keeps me cool for about 5 minutes.I’ve tried a wet tea towel and it does just the same job.Rather disappointing

Very disappointed! The description says that the towel stays dry to the touch and doesn't leave wet patches. I found that I had wet patches on my clothes and the colour - pink - had run in to my dress! I bought the towel to wear round my neck while bowling - I live in Spain so it can be very hot. Thank goodness I wasn't wearing my white bowling gear while testing the towel. I can't really return the item now having used it. I also bought a blue one for my husband. I followed the instructions carefully.

Xmas gift for a friend whose always hot. Thought this might help while they're at the gym.

Bought 2 of these for my Mum who was leaving hospital following knee surgery. Another review mentioned they worked really well on swollen/sore joints. They have worked brilliantly for that purpose in the last few days so we can only reiterate that point. They have cooled the area, easy to use, feel dry and aren't heavy. In my Mums words "they came into their own during the night when the pain / swelling was worst". Very happy with this product and I'm sure they will have further uses once she has recovered. A great product would definitely recommend.

I find that its not really cool. its just a wet towel, Could have used a but if kitchen roll to be honest !!

Not as good as I thought u can do the same thing with almost any tea- towel .Definitely over priced....

For use during / after a workout this towel is ideal for keeping you cool. It is so easy to use and stays icy cold for a very long time. Now I've tried it I can imagine it being very handy in the height of summer and will probably buy another to keep with me. Excellent item.
