Daron Willis Tower 3D Puzzle 51-Piece

Fairly easy to put together but fun. Sturdy and the only flimsy part was the antennae, but you can't tell it folded over on itself a few times while putting it together. As with every cardboard model I've put together, I had to glue a few parts on the base together as they'll pop out otherwise. No glue elsewhere though.The Willis/Sears Tower is one of my favorite buildings, but I'm not a huge fan of how they did this one. The actual building looks black from afar, but the color they chose is the gold reflection you'll see at sunset. I feel like black with slightly lighter windows would have looked so much nicer. See how Lego did it. Also the base is a dark red, which doesn't look good with the gold at all. I'm having to hide this one behind others because of the base.Overall a good addition and fun to put together. Not my favorite but happy I got it.

I built this with my six year old grandson who is really good at constructing pretty complex Lego sets following their instructions but this was way over his head. He was very helpful finding the right pieces but not in the actual construction. It came out very well though a bit wobbly. But it was a fun project for the two oof us.

Purchased the Willis (Sears) Tower along with the Empire State Building. They cost less than 10 dollars each and qualified for free shipping. I have bought 3D building puzzles before that's made out of paper, I had to glued the paper together and they don't last too long. This 3D model uses a thin foam. The foam is thin but very strong and durable. The model is rich in details and holds well together, no glue is needed. I can move them around without having to worry the pieces might fall off. I was going to just try building one model and save the other one for later, but the first one was so fun to build I ended up finishing both of them in the same night. They took about one hour each to construct. I plan to bring them to my office for display (actually to show off). Daron did an excellent job with their 3D puzzles and I will likely buy other 3D models from them to try out.

I actually got this for my husband to build with my son. They had fun assembling it together, but we had just adopted a kitten who was 6 months old at the time and when they completed building it, our kitten came and knocked it over, which basically tore it down. It was literally like the Godzilla movie where it just totally crumpled. It's not so durable, but it looked really neat when it was assembled. I recommend super-gluing the parts.

I have a lot of these types of models. This one is pretty cool, but in my opinion, not that challenging. This is great for someone starting out on these types of models, or adding to a collection. It could also be a great option for kids. For what it is, I really like it.

It wasnt too challenging for my 8 year old but it wouldnt stay up on completion as i suspect it was getting help to fall down....my older son was doing the assist but the finish product was really nice!!

Gave it as a gift. Easy for a 10 year old to do. Only stands about 12 inches tall but looks nice.

I really enjoyed building this puzzle. It wasn't too hard or too easy, just right! It turned out to be taller than expected! I can't wait to build more of these!

This is great for beginners - easy instructions to follow and my son enjoyed assembling this on his own.

Ich habe dieses Puzzle gekauft, weil ich vor 4 Jahren in Chicago war, und natürlich auch auf dem Willis Tower gewesen bin! Ich war sehr überrascht, wie toll das fertige Gebäude aussieht! Es hat super viel Spaß gemacht es zusammen zu bauen! Habe das Gebäude jetzt in einem Regal stehen, und es mit kleinen LEDs von unten beleuchtet! Sieht super aus!!! Nur zu empfehlen!! Super Teil!!!
