My sister loved it!
My sister is an elephant lover and I bought this for her birthday, she loved it! Good quality book in keeping with the National Geographic quality. Nice coffee table book, lovely to read and display.

Beautiful book that goes well with the series!
This book is full of amazing elephant photographs! I think it quickly will become of my favorite books and I have tons of them. I haven't finished reading the book or finished watching the series (I still have Asian elephants to watch) but I thought I would give this review to encourage others to get this book. You won't regret it!

This is a beautiful book
I’ll be waiting on the DVD but meanwhile the book is poignant and beautiful. Well worth the read if you love elephants !

Whether or not you think you know about elephants, it's almost guaranteed you'll learn more from this wonderful book. For a lifelong elephant lover - like me - it's like all my Christmases and every other celebration came at once. Aside from exquisite and extensive photography, the essays are illuminating. A perfect gift for anyone of any age, or in my case: for myself!
