This was an excellent addition to our kitchen, but we had to learn how to work with it. Initially, we used Velcro and attached it to the side of the fridge. We filled it with larger-than-average rolls of wrapping material. For us, this was not a good idea. The fat rolls didn’t roll as freely as free-rolls should roll 😊 After taking the rolls of wrapping material OUT of the original boxes before putting them in the dispenser, we learned that the best way to work with the dispenser was to:(1) Use standard-size rolls of wrap to allow the rolls to rotate more easily, especially the foil which would tear easily.(2) Locate the dispenser in a horizontal position in a drawer or on the kitchen countertop (it’s made with beautiful bamboo) rather than hanging it vertically. For whatever reason, the rolls were more easily unrolled that way.(3) Place the rolls, so they feed from the bottom (nearest the cutter) rather than from the top to prevent bunching during the cutting.(4) Cut from left to right.Another trick that worked well was to put the dispenser on the kitchen countertop alongside the dishes to be covered.Your experience may vary, but that’s what worked for us. We recommend this product. However, work with it.

This is great for organizing your kitchen essentials and for saving you space. This can be placed in a drawer or wall mounted. It is nice and sturdy and holds three smaller, or regular, size rolls of foil, wax paper, cling wrap, or parchment paper. If you intend to keep it in a drawer, be sure to check your dimensions prior to ordering. The measurement of the wooden box is 3" deep but the slicers on top add a bit to that dimension so your drawer would need to be about 3.5-4" deep. Also, the side is held on by just a magnet so I'm not sure how well that will hold up. Overall, I do love this organizer so far and am hopeful it will last for a long time!

I like the concept but the bottom cutter arrived broken and it was not quite what I expected,

There are 2 types of people in life: the ones who can effortlessly cut a perfect piece of plastic wrap off the roll, and the ones who struggle with it until you end up tearing it like an oversized toddler trying to learn motor control. I fall into the second category.This organizer makes that task so much easier. There is a sliding blade that cuts through the plastic/foil like butter. Just press down gently and glide across, and you get a perfect edge everytime.What I really like is that it comes with hardware to mount it on the wall, as well as pre-made labels you can slap on the bad boy if you want to.It's got a versatile look that's at home in so many different decor styles. The bamboo is lovely and durable.

When I first got this, I couldn't figure out how to open it. It's built pretty solid, and it took me a minute. There is a dimple on one of the ends that helps you open it. The end is held in place with a magnet.I put plastic wrap, tin foil, wax paper in mine. It works best when the product pays off the bottom of the roll, and than up over the cutter. If it's coming off the top of the roll, take it out and flip it over. This makes it easier to keep it straight, and not get bunched up. Take it slow, and it will cut really nice and straight.

It was a lot more sturdier than I expected, a very pleasant surprise. It comes with little pre printed labels to put above each compartment. My parchment paper didn't fit bc the average roll of parchment is a few inches longer than regular Reynolds aluminum foil but I'll know next time to get the shorter roll. I don't like that the end where u put the rolls in doesn't stay closed. It just pops in and out, there is nothing keeping the wooden sliding piece connected to the box. It fits very flush so it's not wobbly or anything, but it also can come off with the slightest pressure on either end. The zip cutters themselves are made of plastic so I'm hoping they don't break easily or or end up popping off with normal use, but all the other parts/materials the box is made of seem like decent quality so I'm hoping these last as well.Edit to my original review. There is something holding that end piece on, there are two very tiny magnets I didn't see at first. They are strong but so tiny the strength is almost moot bc there is not much area to connect.

Do you have your aluminum foil, saran wrap, and parchment paper in various drawers in your home? I did, but now, I can organise the space much easier with having the bamboo organiser. It's easy to follow the instructions on how to put in the various liners and how to hang up the organiser. Once it's up and working, changing them out is a snap! Definitely a nice item for any kitchen!
