Lovely teapot!!!
I received this yesterday. Quick, flawless shipping! My entire family loves herbal teas, and we grow many of our own herbs. I needed a better way to use loose leaf herbs without a bag or sieve. This is it!!! We brewed our first pot last night. Complete success! It has way more pros than cons!First, it's just absolutely lovely! It's dainty, elegant and aesthetically pleasing, yet very strong, tough, and durable! I prefer to boil the water in it, and it did a fine job. Very little of my dried herbs came through the tiny infuser slits. Not even enough to be bothered by, so that's a huge plus for me. The infuser goes almost to the bottom, so herbs will always be in the water, no matter how little water you use. The infuser is also large enough to pack a lot of herbs in! I like my tea strong, stout, and brimming with flavor. Everything fit with room to spare. Whether you like it mild or strong, this kettle works! It was super easy to clean, and would make the perfect gift for tea drinkers. There were only two things I personally did not like about it. Here's "my" cons... the beautiful spout pours flawlessly, yet the base of it is attached quite low. I would benefit from a higher spout. The more water you add, the further up the spout it travels. This is not an issue if you are pouring in boiled water to steep, but is if you plan to boil the water in it. To remedy that, we boiled half a pot and steeped it strong (pictured). Then added hot water to top off the kettle before pouring it into individual cups. All in all, it's not a huge issue and can easily be worked around. The only other issue (again, for me) is the size. It holds 4-5 cups. That is probably perfect for most. My husband and I have 5 children. It's not quite big enough for all 7 of us. Throw in a visit from my parents, and it's definitely too small. Most evenings, however, it's just my husband, myself, and our 3 youngest daughters. For that, a full pot is perfect. So again, not the biggest con in the world! Most do not have a huge family that loves multiple cups every evening. We're a little different.ALL IN ALL, I'm still amazed by just how much I love this beautiful pot!!! All I need now is a dainty, yet durable teacup set to compliment it.I will update this review as time goes on. We drink tea daily, so I should quickly discover just how durable it is.Do not let "my review" sway you from this glorious purchase! You will love it! If you enjoy hot herbal teas, you will definitely enjoy this well-made teapot! It's a fantastic addition to our humble #SchottelHomestead, and I'm glad I have it <3

Really nice
I really love this tea pot. It is as beautiful as it looks in the picture, and the blooming flower tea tastes good and was fun to watch open up. The only downside is how fragile the pot is, so make sure to handle it super carefully, especially when washing it. Mine broke, but I had registered it with the warranty and reached out to the owners, who responded promptly and agreed to send me a replacement. I enjoy my little tea experience with this product, so my only advice is to just handle with extra care :)

⋞⋟ Not for gorilla play or tumbling in your clothes dryer, but it's ⇝AWESOME⇜ for brewing tea‼️ ⋞⋟
⋞⋟ Not for gorilla play or tumbling in your clothes dryer, but it's ⇝AWESOME⇜ for brewing tea‼️ ⋞⋟Use CAREFULLY on ULTRA-LOW stovetop heat! ... Borosilicate glass is resilient, but if this is banged-around (in, say, dishwasher or by using metal or hard plastic utensils to stir contents), can damage this wonderfully otherwise durable and cool-looking, very functional kettle!I put it on my open-flame gas stovetop ON THE ULTRA-LOWEST SETTING and casually let the water heat up and come to a boil (210 ℉), which takes exactly 26―yes!, T-W-E-N-T-Y S-I-X―very patient minutes (did I say, "ULTRA-LOW HEAT"?).You might see part of my SILICON SPOON used to stir the contents (if desired)―the silicone spoon can be found in Amazon's BABY FEEDING IMPLEMENTS section. It's perfectly suited for stirring the contents of this very nice tea kettle without subjecting it to the sharp taps and damage to the kettle that a metal spoon would most probably do.The pouring spout? It's designed to thwart dripping of poured tea and works quite well! I was surprised at the quality of the pour, the smoothness and gradual tapering-off of the pour as my teacup filled while I slowly tilted the kettle back. Friggin' awesome! And don't forget to use a POT HOLDER!! A thinner one is best because it will allow secure holding of the thin handle and small knob on the kettle's lid while pouring (so that the kettle's lid won't accidentally tumble off as the kettle is sharply tilted to pour the last drops of tea from the kettle). If you treat this kettle well, it will definitely treat y-o-u well and every one of your "tea mornings" can be a ‼️ƃuᴉuɹ🌞ꟽ p🙃🙃⅁‼️ (apologies! ... I just had to do that to get your attention! ... LOL)

I love it.
The tea pot looks so good on our gas stove. It holds the perfect amount of tea and is very easy to use and clean. The center tea holder also looks great with flower tea packs. The heat from the oven got the pot really hot, but it did well. This pot holds just enough water for an evening on the couch with your favorite book or movie.

Amazing!
Had this teapot for years now, along with the tea light base. It is amazing! I don’t use the base, but I use it on my gas stove on the simmer burner. I brew tea daily in it and find that it is the most convenient and cleanest way to brew any type of tea or decoction. I boil the water first in my electric tea kettle to save time and not use high heat on my teapot. I absolutely love it! I prefer loose teas and I use SS strainers usually or a strainer while pouring if necessary but this is just so much better and far easier to clean. Pouring wise be careful to pour slowly and gently, if you do, it shouldn’t drip. If you pour too much it will inevitably due to physics.
