Very basic
I couldn’t get through the book ! I suppose if you’re really socially awkward and need the most basic tips to even hold a convo with someone then go for it . None of this is groundbreaking tips in my opinion . I was looking for more idea of when you’re in a pinch like being stuck in a elevator with someone w only a minute to talk .. and the examples of the conversations are kind of corny .. I got a refund !

Cheerio to Small Talk
This is a very helpful treatise, especially on how to initiate small talk and to realize its importance in everyday life. I always had a low opinion about small talk, but he convinced me. Ask other people’s opinion about this or that or make a tactful compliment to wipe away silence. You can expect a friendly response because the other person is equally happy conversing. Its easy to ask, How is your day this far? - and your chat is on its way. The author described every different angle in detail, even how not to forget names after being introduced. Cheerio to small talk!
