I bought this kit because of the great price and I needed a longer adjustment arm on the bracket for my Buick GS 400. It bolted up to the stock arm location and gave me the extra swing I needed for my larger alternator. Great kit!

Kind of torn; the parts that bolt to the exhaust manifold are nice and sturdy. The alternator mount itself is inadequate. It is missing the spacer bushing and the hole for the bushing itself is not drilled. I made a spacer bushing out of aluminum tubing and added a large washer to keep it inside the yoke for the alternator. After tightening it up, I noticed that the alternator was pointing in a weird angle. Upon inspection, the entire bracket had bent up. I took it off, purchased a higher quality alternator bracket and mounted it to the other two pieces from this kit. Problem solved, but I lost a lot of time.
