JT Eaton 716-S Nectus Soft Bait 2G Second Generation Rodenticide, Bait for Rats and Mice, 16-Pound Pail

I purchased the JT Eaton 716-S Nectus Soft Bait 2G to deal with a rodent issue, and it worked exactly as described. The soft bait packets were easy to place, and rodents were attracted to it quickly. I noticed a significant reduction in activity within a few days. I like that the bait stays soft and doesn’t crumble, making it easier and cleaner to use compared to other products I’ve tried. The bucket quantity is also a good value and lasts a while. Overall, this product did its job effectively. I would definitely purchase again if needed and recommend it to anyone dealing with a similar problem.

I had a mice infestation in my old apt. An exterminator came maybe every 6 weeks and the hard block poison wasn’t touched. My landlord hired another company who told me mice and rats DO NOT like hard poison. He had soft bait and actually told me which one he was using. It was not this brand. He was very generous with the bait. I began to get more mice and dropping activity than what I had and was actually freaked out. After a couple weeks mice activity totally stopped. No droppings no dead exploded mice no more activity at bait stations nor any caught on the traps. March I moved as my landlord said I was costing her too much money. I did however collect all 15 bait traps just in case. After a few nights in my new apt I hear scratching behind the stove in the wall in the ceiling mice dropping everywhere every morning. I pull out the traps put them all over and the mice went crazy. Boy did they eat and poop. I began to search for the brand that was in the traps and for $100 or more plus like a $20 shipping cost I thought let me search for something cheaper. That’s when I found this product. Doing my research I figured this is $50 cheaper and if it doesn’t work I will just order the One I was previously using.I order April 28th it shipped promptly but was delayed due to delivery back ups not the seller. I had this for a week before I actually set it up in the traps and put some Single packs generously behind the fridge and the stove. Again the mice activity was crazy. I thought I was gonna have to stay with my mom. I think they were having a party in the walls and ceiling In the middle of the day and behind my couch while we slept. This stuff is like thanksgiving to them. Knock on wood it’s been 5 days straight without any mice poop or any noises in the ceiling or the walls. Not a peep. This stuff works works works. Yes you may from my experience see more activity before it stops. I am sold on this product and what I won’t do is let this 16lbs pail get down too low before reordering. Well worth the purchase. This Stuff is AWESOME. I’m sold.

This product is amazing!! I HAD a roof rat problem in my yard. I could hear them running thru threes every night. , and also devour everything in the bird feeder. 7 days ago i placed 2 bait boxes out. I filled them up every night for 5 nights. They had eaten 144 packs of the bait, 24 each night. Past two nights i hear nothing in the trees and bird feeder is full in the morning. I did find a few fallen victims along my fence after the fourth night. This is good stuff!

This stuff is probably the only poison that the mice in my area will eat. I’ve tried everything, even the first strike. They won’t even look at the first strike but they’ll go straight for this. Be patient with this stuff. There’s nothing that’s going to kill a mouse instantly. It may take a day for the mouse to die or it may take a few days. My recommendation before putting this stuff out is to clean, clean, clean. Vacuum or sweep up mouse droppings but remember the mouse dropping locations. Look around for holes the size of a quarter or bigger and fill those in with steel wool. Once you’re done, I would place the bait inside of the bait station and put the station in all of the places where you saw mouse droppings originally. That is their known traffic spot! I stacked up on this now as maintenance because fall will be here before you know it and that’s when the mice come back. Once the temps drop they will look for somewhere warm. I’ll have a nice snack waiting for them (lol).
