SauconyMen's Ride 15 Running Shoe

I was not sure what to expect from this redesign of the Saucony Ride. I have run in the 10, 12 (iso 2), and 13 and they basic did not change that much, knew what I was getting and what the ride would be like. With the 15, it was a complete redesign. New upper, more cushioning (stack height), and lighter.The stack height is the similar to the Saucony Triumph 18, (their plush max cushion shoe), and the professional reviewers were saying this shoe has a softer midsole than previous versions. This lead me to believe that I would have something like a soft max cushion ride.When I unboxed and put these bad boys and laced them up I was feeling like oh no! They are really firm and the forefoot felt almost harsh. But the longer I had them on the more comfortable they felt. I love the fit of the upper. For me Saucony has always had the fit dialed in just right.My first run in these shoes was solid! Ran slow at first then picked up the pace. These shoes definitely feel better when I'm running in them! Slower pace was fine but picking up the pace was where I really felt the shoe exceled, for a daily trainer. Smooth transition and a bit of a pop on toe off. I think this is the best version yet.While running the firmness was not noticeable. There appears to be short break in period after a couple of runs these shoes feel really good. I also run in the Triumph and Kinvara's but I find myself reaching for this pair of shoes more often than not.Because of the increased stack height you will not get the road feel like in previous versions. If you like the feel of the road this might not be the shoe for you. I don't know if they are softer than prior versions but after a few miles they are feeling really comfortable. I would definitely buy these again.

Very happy with these shoes. I am 6' and 260 lbs. and these shoes offer plenty of cushion. They fit and look great. I will buy again.

I first got the D(quite narrow) exchanged for 2E which it was perfect for a couple of months but stretched a bit too much due to a nice soft upper. I still like them them for 3 ml runs or the gym

Shoe feels good but is a major change from the Ride14--takes run time to get used to the new feel/change in product. One week running and have adjusted to new feel--not sure yet that the added cushion will last as long as the Ride14. Overall good experience so far. Do like the new addition of the lacing method at top section which increases ability to pull laces tight--not a fan of the flat laces.

I guess I have feet that get really hot. I have a few shoes Sketchers make that are more breathable but they are not shoes I work out in. Clarks has a good brand but not for working out. I bought these to use during my work out. I can tell you that they are comfortable and if you have wide feet make sure you order wide as the wide is still a little snug towards the heel of your foot. I put these on and started to work in my home office just to get a feel for them. Walking around I can honestly say they are great for support. Just not that breathable. I can tell that there is ventilation on the shoe which is nice however the sole of the shoe has no vent or air flow of any kind. I can feel the heat building up as I am typing this. I recently bought two other brands that were claiming "breathable" but was highly unsatisfied with those. These I can tell are better than the other shoes I have so I will give some credit there.

PROS: Great fit (sizing and hugs your feet), good looking, perfect amount of cushion-rebound, comfortable, quality materials, super hard to beat value for money.CONS: Room for improvement in ventilation (Summer). Not the lightest.W

I reordered the men's Echelon 8. Exact same shoe i ordered 10 months ago. It's more comfortable for various aerobics ( row, run, bike) before I workout. Better color too.

What an awesome pair of running shoes. I’ve tried dozens of brands and models and this one is better than perfect. Great fit, cushioning, support and shoes feel weightless. I will likely buy a second pair in a different colour as these are just great

After 10 years of running in the previous ride shoes, these were Initially disappointing, feeling toobig and too soft, more like the triumph. They are settling in now after 12+ runs, but I still think they lack the connection to the road that the pervious versions had and that i loved so much as an everyday shoe.

Really good, I superpronate and after a 10k run felt no discomfort in my shins or calfs, as I do in other well respected running brands. Highly recommend

great shoes bought as a present for the hubby, they fit perfect ,sized right and the drop is great for comfortable running , he loves them.

ho acquistato questa scarpa la saucony della serie rider perchè la uso da anni, l'anno scorso della serie 14 ne ho prese due paia. Fin dall'inizio prova, a differenze delle altre, ho notato che dopo averle avuto un po' al piede, iniziavo ad avvertire un senso di fastidio come se stringessero un po di più rispetto alle altre, tenendole ai piedi per un tempo più lungo la sensazione era di piede leggermente addormentato...e una scarpa da running non può presentare questo problema...con mio sommo dispiacere in quanto la scarpa è anche bella esteticamente ho avviato il reso.
