The richness of the design is undeniable; it's a true pleasure to look at and use.I am completely in love with this pen! The smooth, luxurious feel is incredible, and it's visually gorgeous. This pen arrived on time and packaged very nicely in a display box, complete with refill and instructions.I purchased the black with gold trip.I've had it about a month and have used it often for work as this was the reason I purchased. I should also say that I purchased during an offer for £25.Overall I would say this pen is value for money for £25 but NOT for the full price. I have had numerous parker pens over years and this is of similar quality to a £30 parker pen.It writes OK, it really nothing special in that regard. It doesn't flow immaculately. The casing has also marked pretty easily given I've only been using it for a month and when I'm not using it I store it in a pen box along with my other pens.Overall I would say it's a nice looking pen and I'm happy with it for the price I have paid. If I had paid the higher price I would have returned it as it's not of a gold standard**Update 2025**Following this review the owners of this company reached out, provided a full refund and sent me a new pen. I also received a hand written letter.The new pen I received is of excellent quality, writes perfectly smooth and hasn't marked at all. I've been using it daily now for the past 2 weeks and I am extremely happy with the quality, but I am even more appreciative of the excellent customer service, quite honestly the best I've had on Amazon. This is a stellar pen and as a pen lover, I’m more than satisfied with my purchase!1. PackagingThoughtful packaging making sure that the product and inner box is protected while in transport. It arrived in pristine condition. This is important for me especially if I am gifting this to someone very special. The inner box is simple yet elegant.2. What’s inside the box?The beautiful pen of course and one extra refill (including the spring). It comes with a 10-year warranty card and a surprise (won’t spoil it here though). The product also comes with instruction manual on how to fit the refill and spring.3. RefillAs per written on the card, Schmidt 888 refill is available in amazon and I love it that I have the option of buying three tip sizes ( Fine, Medium, Broad). The pen being reusable resonates to me (1) to reduce waste (2) keep using this beautiful pen and making memories with it.4. The beautiful pen.It’s design is slick and clean with attention to detail. It’s not loud but definitely looks very sophisticated5. Writing with it.The ink flow is fluid and writes beautifully. I tried writing both in quick and slow strokes and the pen did not disappoint. My biggest worry with luxury pens like this is I might not enjoy writing with it because of the weight. Believe me when I say it feels so well-balance on each stroke6.
